  1. What I really like about this is that both gravity as a force and gravity as curved spacetime work to explain the observed universe, for most purposes, equally well. And depending on what you are examining, one will be handier than the other, while not invalidating each other.

  2.  @narfwhals7843  I was perhaps overgeneralizing. And thank you for reminding me about Mercury's orbit. I learned about that a few months ago, but it had faded in the ol' neuron library.
