Ah, I was expecting a feature on Amazon's silent war on their own delivery subcontractors, mandating the vans they lease, then kicking them out of the program as they sit on tens of thousands in debt on van repairs. The vans get beat to pieces delivering items for ten (base) to twenty-five (if they hit efficiency goals) cents each. It could be operator accidents, other drivers hitting the vans, and/or just roads beating the suspension parts and tires to bits. Amazon sets aggressive goals, hires excess numbers of small businesses to meet those goals, then drops those companies like a rock even after rewarding them with stellar reviews.

  3. I HATE touchscreens in a car. Give me the tactile interface of knobs and buttons, manual windows, manual seat and steering wheel adjustment... The more touchscreens, the more drivers who will be looking away from the road while they are operating their ton-plus kinetic energy transfer devices.
