Ah yes, another step to the future where we will own nothing and be happy about it. I have seen a few videos about devices like this being left installed (and being found only by them failing the car off) in used car sales, even when the car was bought free and clear. - When I last had a car payment, I had this amazing device that helped me keep track of when my payments were due. It was a... CALENDAR. Wow! - This device is a symptom of lender greed. They are completely fine with lending to people as long as they get their money, even when those people should not have been approved. All to avoid those people being incentivized to a much smarter purchase of a car they can actually afford, like a used car, that will not bring the auto makers and lender anywhere NEAR the amount of profit.
