  1. I wish my rental agreement didn't ban even those. But having seen the "quality" of some of the plumbing in the building, I totally get why that is the case. One too many water-hammer events and someone's got a flooded apartment.

  2.  @SimuLord  If you clean ANY firearm without first making sure it is unloaded, you're too dumb, drunk, and/or stoned to be allowed to handle a firearm. After it is clear and unloaded, you then do a partial disassembly, otherwise you way as well just wipe the outside with a cloth and lie to yourself that it is clean. When you hand-clean a firearm, you often don't disassemble the trigger group, but you do remove upper receiver from the lower, the bolt/bolt carrier, firing pin, and with some rifles and may pistols you remove the barrel. Then you clean the various parts. - I have seen some people do that level of disassembly and then put the dirtiest parts (bolt, firing pin, pistol barrels) in an ultrasonic cleaner.

  3.  @nothanks1673  Have you tried sourcing a used door from another dishwasher that has broken innards? If you have a refurbished appliance seller in your region, they might be able to help you find one.
