@MN-vz8qm France and many Western countries have limited units with experience in jungle warfare. Additionally, France, the USA, and a significant portion of NATO conduct their jungle warfare training in Brazil, under the guidance of Brazilian forces (although i'm uncertain if similar training occurs elsewhere).
Comparing the number of French soldiers prepared for jungle combat with the number of Brazilian soldiers is akin to comparing Brazilian soldiers prepared for snow warfare with Russian soldiers.
We have soldiers ready to fight in the snow, but we can't say that our army in general are ready to fight in the snow, same for France.
The French defense forces in Guyana are relatively small. Considering Brazil as the aggressor, they would encounter minimal resistance. Additionally, there are not only main roads but also numerous dirt roads and small paths within the jungle. While these may not be suitable for regular cars, they are well-suited for Brazilian light armored vehicles specially designed for this type of terrain.
Brazil is a predominantly defensive country, and denying their readiness to navigate the biome they have mastered the most would be a form of denial.

What a bunch of nonsense. I won't waste time refuting it all, but regarding nuclear weapons, Brazil would take years to develop a warhead, and it would strain diplomatic and economic relations with the West. Moreover, building a warhead is the easiest part. To pose a threat to France, Brazil would need to develop an intercontinental missile, and that, my friend, is extremely challenging. Brazil would require years, perhaps a decade or more, to build one, and ONE single missile wouldnt be enough, we would need dozens or maybe hundreds to successfully attack, a single missile would easily be intercepted.

@MN-vz8qm You have never set foot in a forest in your life. In all forests, at least in South America, there are countless trails and dirt roads that you won't find on Google Maps. The Brazilian army's armored vehicles are SPECIFICALLY MADE to navigate these terrains. If you check the map, you will see that there are dozens of settlements within the forests, not to mention the occupations that Google probably hasn't cataloged, so yes, there are roads.
Guyana has about 2000 soldiers scattered throughout the country. Brazil, on the other hand, has more than 10.000 soldiers just in Amapá, over 170.000 in the entire northern and northeastern regions of the country. Are you telling me that France would be quicker and more efficient in bringing soldiers from Europe than Brazil would be in mobilizing soldiers from the northern and northeastern regions? You underestimate Brazilian capabilities so much that it seems like xenophobia.
For you, it's easy to throw dozens, perhaps hundreds of thousands of French soldiers into planes and boats and send them from Europe to South America, but it seems that logic doesn't apply to Brazil, which happens to be infinitely closer to Guyana.
There's no way France could reinforce Guyana's positions before Brazil gets there. It's physically impossible; in fact, Brazil could load all the soldiers from the north and northeast onto travel buses if it wanted (not that it needs to) and still arrive well before the French reinforcements.
And even if you were right, there's nothing the French in Guyana could do to prevent an attack from Brazilian paratroopers (who happen to be some of the elite soldiers of the Brazilian army).

However, Guyana can be attacked on foot; attacking Guyana or defending a territory in Amapá is the same thing. Huh? It's just was an example. I cant use historic facts as example? I used that personal fact because it involve my country and French, but French have a large history of imperialism disguised with "good cause".
Btw, my country are fairly new if compared with millenar french, but at least we dont have a history filled with defeats and shame in differents wars.

Well, a war was really improbable, but only because Brazil was ready to defend his sovereignty and people interest against your imperialist government, because you guys sent a entire fleet to Senegal (just 3 days of distance from brazilian territory), also sent a Destroyer to accompany the lobster boats and threat our fishers. Of course make a war for lobsters arent worth, but wasnt worth to France because brazilian navy in 61 was strong, strong enough to make your navy retreat and stay away from our territory. Im sure that if it was a weaker country, you imperialists would steal the lobsters with no contest and that history probably would be forgotten.

Imagine a nuclear attack of France in São Paulo city, 12,33 millions people dead and the economic hearth of Brazil gone forever, how do you think that international community would react? "Oh, ok, let it be". How do you think that de western population would react? "oh, thats ok, it happens..."
Also, how do you think that countries like Russia, North Korea, Iran and China, who was just waiting for a mistake to make his moves, would react?
And no, your allies wouldnt protect you because you are breaking a treaty and being the aggressor, in fact, the best scenario for you is being invaded and completely disarmed probably forever, if not nuked in Paris, by Russia or China, especially China, who are highly dependent of brazilian exports (grains and meat) and will suffer with a food supply problem, and not only them, USA and all Europe too.
Also, by the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance, Brazil and USA are allies too, and any agressor would be retalied not only by USA, but all american continent.
