@wereproductsnotconsumers8179 I don't know what kind of coverage or money you have to be put at the top of the waiting list but it takes a long time, here, too, for some people to get an appt to see their doctor and if they don't have medical insurance or the money their wait is even longer!! And besides David on youtube channel Rational National has debunked that crap about long waiting lists there in Canada as well as I have friends in other countries with universal health care and they don't wait any longer than I do to see their doctors. The insurance companies are evil, too, making billions of dollars off of sick and dying people. Not to mention the times they deny coverage to someone on something they need to save their life.

@wereproductsnotconsumers8179 I don't think that will happen more people seeing both sides as long as the insurance companies charge so much while covering so little if any.

It is much easier for someone to block a bill when they have the majority of Corp Dems as well as Republicans on their side then it is for one person to block a bill to get more when they do not have a majority on their side that would vote for more. Some people were/are too desperate for this recent stimulus check and/or unemployment benefits for any of them to had held up that bill any longer.

@Wulrus_Jones Doesn't matter what Biden claims to be for according to his voting record we know we can't trust what he says. That is what I go by someone's voting records. When I see how many Americans were for this latest bill with many of them needing relief NOW I can just imagine the hate they would had got if they had voted against this bill or held it up any longer even though the majority of Americans are for raising the min wage they didn't want this bill held up any longer or else the majority of Americans wouldn't had supported this bill without that in it. I think the majority want them to continue fighting for it but not in that bill. People facing eviction or needing food, medical bills, the unemployed would be more concerned about getting the help in that bill NOW while continuing to fight for raising the min wage in another bill. While I am for raising the min wage I was not for delaying that bill any longer from passing!

@Wulrus_Jones Why can't you just say it correctly? They are fighting for what they want but just not fighting for it the way you want when you want or how you want! Joe Mansion doesn't care how many Americans hate him because he has Corp Dems and Republicans on his side! That is why he had no problem holding the bill up he doesn't care people get mad at him as long as it's not his paid donors. Progressives do care as they fight for progressive policies they knew Americans, well a lot of Americans, needed help THEN/NOW!! I can only imagine the hate that would had came their way from those Americans that wanted that bill to pass THEN if they had held it up and that is the case otherwise the majority of Americans would not had polled supporting that bill even though most also want higher wages they knew they needed money and/or unemployment benefits NOW!! I am not sure about you but I rather have the stimulus checks for now than higher wages as people out of work it is not going to help them if the min wage is raised! While I do want them to keep fighting for higher wages, too. If they were not fighting for us we would had nothing in that bill for us. Can you even begin to imagine what the bills would be like if there was not any progressives fighting for us? No, probably not as you are too self centered in getting everything you want or nothing? If you were so against them voting for that bill as it was without more, I hope you were also against accepting the stimulus checks in it? At least that would make your arguments more honest that they really are your arguments.

@Wulrus_Jones Biden promised $2,000 if the GA Dems won! But he didn't follow through with that and I know his excuse so you don't need to tell me. Point is that didn't mean he was for that it means he said it to get elected. The progressives were actually for what we got. Sad if you don't know the difference!! Progressives fought to keep the stimulus checks going to the same people they did before instead of lowering the income requirements. Corp Dems wanted less unemployment amount but the progressives would not go lower than what passed. I would never vote for Biden based on what he said. That is your mistake if you did it because he said he was for raising the min wage. His voting record is one I would not had voted for no matter what he said! Obama had a much bigger majority in all 3 branches than what Biden has and lets see Obama and Biden before elected were for the public option and you know how that went we got a Republican healthcare plan! Not to mention their silence when peaceful Native Americans were being brutalized. OH, and they could had let the Bush tax cuts expire without having to vote on it but you know how that went, too.

@Wulrus_Jones My facts were correct on what the House passed. Where I didn't follow through with until now is the changes the Senate made and then after that with the oncoming deadline the progressives in the House was not going to hold up the bill any further! Also when talking about the income limit on getting the checks I was talking about on getting the FULL amount of the stimulus checks. Actually IMO individuals making over $50,000 and couples making over $100,000 does not need any stimulus checks so I don't think someone can be considered not being a progressive or not fighting for progressive policies if they vote on not giving wealthier people stimulus checks. Didn't Manchin's state vote for Trump? If so, not only does he have Corp Dems and Republicans on his side but the people in his state, too. I can only imagine how much more hate progressives would had got if they had held up that bill any longer that many people needed THEN/NOW! Especially with unemployment checks fixing to run out. As I wrote the majority of Americans support the bill that passed but anyone that thinks the bill shouldn't had passed shouldn't accept the stimulus checks. What do you think Americans would had got this past year if there were no progressives in the House like there use to be? But they are still a minority. I also say again, most that criticize them are the very ones that would not go up against even half of what they are. You act like they have given up on fighting for raising the min wage, etc. when they haven't. I think stimulus checks are much more beneficial for now than raising the min wage when so many are out of work and so many small businesses suffering right now to have to pay higher wages now that would probably send them out of business if they have not already gone out.
