  1. I followed Standing Rock closely and I was so upset at the brutalization of peaceful Native Americans! Always going to be some that aren't peaceful. I am not talking about them. I remember so well, Senator Bernie Sanders just about the only politician speaking out against it, wrote a letter to Obama trying to get him to stop it, and he participated in different protests held at other places with Native Americans in their behalf. Bernie Sanders always protesting for the rights of every day people, trying to get progressive policies, going against both parties at times, protecting Social Security as much as any one person can, fighting for everyone's rights even when it's not politically popular, etc. while some people all they can do is hate on him because he's not perfect and doesn't do everything the way they want when they want and how they want. And because he can't pass bills by his self.
