If they want to appeal to me as an Independent then they need to be a progressive with a record to prove they are really a progressive and not just saying it just to get elected. If they are a moderate as far as I am concerned they might as well run as a Republican. I don't trust politicians as it is so they have to have a progressive record not just a progressive voice to get my vote.
