He has never been in trouble with the law for anything else so it's pretty obvious he doesn't think crimes are okay but apparently many do that would not bother trying to point out those that break them that seriously harm others or here illegally. He didn't just go out and try to find some wildlife to have as a pet. He rescued a BABY squirrel and regardless this was not handled like it should had been.

@jsmith123 There are people that don't care about any animals dogs, cats included so no doubt some people report anything they don't care about.

@jsmith123 He rescued the squirrel when it was a baby! Yes, they can be tamed. I HATE snakes!! IMO they should never be kept as pets but neither would I try to have one taken from someone. I just would not visit the people that have them LOL And regardless this with Peanut was handled wrong!

Where is the proof? I wouldn't doubt if they scared it or tried to hurt it that would happen. I think most anyone would realize the point between a gator bite and realize there is a difference.

@Christopher-z2s7b Seriously? In this country you have to prove something is done. Not that it's not done since you care so much about the laws. Try going to court and claim someone did something without evidence. Doesn't matter I don't have proof he didn't do it. It does matter you don't have proof he did. Numerous videos for many years show it was tame. None show different. That's right compare something that breaths to a pistol. SMH Point is they could have handled differently, period. He was trying to get a permit. As far as his profits? You think all those rescues he has is free to take care of?

Scare a pet or try to harm them which IMO is what they did to Peanut would be why they were bit IF they were through a pair of gloves. And for those that say but he didn't have a license this was handled wrong regardless.

@jsmith123 Bringing in those dollars for expenses for the ones he rescues! Where's the proof anyone was bit? If you scare or hurt many pets including dogs that can happen but seeing numerous videos for many years there is no way the squirrel had rabies! By the way also videos of him when he tried to release it.
