The grief I had/have over my pets that passed away from old age I can only imagine the grief and anger if someone had taken their lives. License or not this was handled wrong and anyone that can see could see from the numerous videos from several years the squirrel did not have rabies! But should peacefully voice outrage and with NO treats. Pass Peanut's Law!

@lizcassettai7459 I would like to add just a little to your caring comment. If someone ever had a pet that they really love and care about they would understand how wrong this is. Some people that have pets really don't love them and take care of them like they should but for those that do they would understand.

Most people that care about pets also care about humans! Stats show many humans that harm humans also harm animals. There is caring people on both sides! There are people that don't care on both sides. That alone is not one side or the other.

@jsmith123 The old videos I was referring to were of the squirrel and if you knew anything about what I wrote you would know those are the videos I was talking about that would show Peanut didn't have rabies! I do know your lack of compassion and that you could care less about what happened was showing in your comment.

But be careful because if they haven't been raised from a baby they might not realize you want to befriend them.

@ugandahater I know their trust can be gained but you can't just go up to them the first time and them know you want to befriend them. I have many in my yard but hey, just so no one gets any ideas none of them are in my home not that I would think it was wrong if they were.
