IMO Hyde didn't apologize to the officer because he was sorry for his threatening and mean comments to her but because the video made him look bad showing everyone that saw it just how mean and wrong he was/is. The way Hyde went on and on with his rude behavior for so long IMO shows he has a really bad attitude problem where he is quick to get angry and certainly not someone we want in office! Just image how bad he would had acted if he didn't know there was a camera videoing him. That officer did a great job ignoring his threats and just doing her job. He wanted special treatment, thought he was above the law, so he got mad when he found out he wasn't going to get any special treatment and be held to the law like the rest of us are.
