There is just too many fake progressives like you that would rather destroy the few fighting for progressive policies just because they don't do everything the way you want them to! Bernie is fighting the only way he can to get us as much as he can. Why don't you run for office so we can see you do any better? His voting record as well as him fighting for progressive policies proves he does not fall in line. You act like he can pass bills by his self LOL

I am not willing to go up against all that Bernie has AND I don't believe I could do any better than he and the other few progressives have! Yes, they need help and should get it from those that that think they know exactly how everything can be passed they want when they want it. Since they know how to get it done they should run and get it done.

I will say though I do agree with Dr. Cornel West when he said Trump is worse so he was voting for Biden to get rid of Trump so while I didn't vote for Biden I do understand why many progressives did. I am willing for things to get worse if Trump had been elected again but Dr. West, Bernie, and others care more about this country than to risk that.

I go by voting records and who is fighting for progressive policies while others hate on the few fighting for us as if they can pass bills by their selves. Some people didn't get anything sooner when the majority of Americans weren't pushing for it sooner. It's always taking a lot of people getting behind certain policies to change things you should know that.

It is a FACT that the majority of Americans wanted this recent bill to pass NOW instead of waiting taking a chance on getting nothing just because people didn't get everything they want. Bernie is no sell out! But if you think so why don't you run for office so we can see how you accomplish everything? Nor would he had risked his political career fighting for gay rights when the majority of politicians and this country were against it. Going against Obama on those proposed Social Security cuts didn't benefit him, either, and for sure he would had accepted Corp donations all of these years if he only wanted what benefitted him. Not to mention he wouldn't have voted against them on certain bills as much as he has. Now, any other smears against him?

My question is if you think your efforts would be better why don't you run for office and show us how you would get everything you want when you want it and how you want it? Bernie did force a vote on raising the min wage or did you miss that? I knew good and well that Biden was including the $600 that we already got as part of the $2,000. Like it or not that is how they justify it. I am very disappointed in all those that would destroy the few progressives we have and/or those that sound like Jimmy Dore, one of the most divisive hypocrites=different standards for different candidates that I've ever listened to before I stopped listening to him! You should not donate if you don't understand the risks involved of supporting any candidate! Good Luck on finding the perfect candidate to become the perfect politician that can perfectly pass everything you want when you want it and how you want it.

@crazyzabo holding accountable on how they actually vote on bills and the policies they are speaking out for. That is how they should be held accountable! Not being critical because they don't fight the way we want them until there is a majority of progressives in the House and Senate we can't expect them to pass bills by their selves. There should be huge numbers of people peacefully protesting, too, for progressive policies when they are being discussed and/or voted on. That is when change happens and I don't see too much of that going on. AND by holding all candidates to the SAME standards. Not bash one candidate for doing something that another candidate did that we gave a pass on. Progressives are so divided. That is at least one reason why we don't have a progressive president and never will as long as we stay divided. You take care, too!

Hate on Bernie and the People's Party will never become what you want it to! I won't support any party that most of their supporters hate on the only guy that has fought for us even during a time when most Americans could care less about some of the policies Bernie was and is fighting for. It's when I stopped listening to the divisive hypocrite=different standards for different candidates Jimmy Dore and now more people are waking up to his hypocritical rage/rants. Many will not listen to followers of the People's Party if they throw out the kind of crap Jimmy does. The majority of Americans wanted this recent bill passed NOW not wait as people need that help now as it's survival to them to get it now! But by all means refuse those scraps if you think this bill shouldn't had passed the way it is. Doesn't mean there shouldn't had been more. What did the people's party do to help this bill pass that the majority of Americans want? Bernie can not pass bills by his self. Keep listening to fake progressives or divisive hypocrites that claim to be progressives and you will just hurt the chances of the people's party developing into one big enough to do anything! Most progressives won't tolerate hating on one of the few progressives that have fought for us for decades and well before having the majority of Americans on his side which is what it takes, too, you know!

@ruby_fox If you would had read my comment the way I wrote it you would had seen I wrote about Bernie being one of the few progressives that has fought for us for decades and well BEFORE (key word before) having the majority of Americans on his side! So, we did not have a majority on our side until recent years for some policies and even more recent for others. People do not have to be in any party to have the power to peacefully protest for progressive policies and haven't seen too much of that in the huge numbers needed when it comes to some of the progressive policies! But just sit back and complain about those that are trying to do something for us. You are giving nothing but speculation on what the People's party will actually accomplish as you don't know what they will or won't accomplish. Some of the progressives are not folding just because they don't do things exactly the way you want when you want or how you want but in the meantime make sure you help to try to destroy them because they can't pass every policy you want by their selves or fight how you want them to. I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't a huge supporter of Jimmy Dore, a divisive hypocrite=different standards for different candidates that didn't even support the only candidate for Medicare for all (not Medicare for those that want it or for some) but now suddenly for Medicare for all. And since you want to point out what the majority of Americans are for make sure you understand the majority of Americans wanted this bill passed NOW and to not wait. Or is is just what the majority wants that you agree with?

Bernie did call them out as well as calling out Big Pharma, the Insurance companies, Wall Street, AND the policies he is for that they are not for and that is calling them out that way, too! He also called out what they did to him in the 2016 primary but considering all the hate he got that time and this time he was not going to do anymore to help Trump get elected. If you don't understand that then that is your problem. Even Dr. Cornel West understood that he would vote for Biden to get rid of Trump. Bernie cares about us but he also cares about this country, apparently, more than it seems you do! Bernie has also been a great leader in certain movements such as the one he started to help stop Obama's proposed Social Security cuts which took a lot of guts considering he was just about the only one against that and considering how popular Obama was/is. Bernie is not perfect but none is! If you think the People's Party will have the perfect candidate, good luck with that. I am on board with the People's Party unless I hear a lot of their supporters hating on Bernie or Nina Turner. Bernie spoke out against that part of the bill with outrage but thing is if he had withheld his vote then other people would had hated on him saying he didn't care about those out of work that needed those unemployment checks and that needed the stimulus checks. What matters to Bernie is getting us as much as he can being he is only one person in the Senate trying to get what he can for us. I take it you rather people get nothing if a bill isn't totally what you agree with. You do nothing to get progressive policies but want to hate on those that are trying to! Bernie doesn't force anyone to support him and you, someone that has never did squat for me or my family isn't going to brainwash me but since you were so against the bill hope you refused the stimulus checks that was in it and didn't accept any unemployment that you would be eligible for so you don't look like a you know, a hypocrite bashing a bill while you accepted what that bill could give you. I know people that were very happy with the unemployment they received because of that bill as well as the stimulus checks. I hear Bernie calling out a lot of what's corrupt in this country, Big Pharma, Wall Street, politicians that accept corp donations, the insurance companies. As far as the "pandemic" there is a lot of controversy on how that has been and is being handled! Now, you are wasting your time with me! I searched Bernie's record including his voting record before I voted for him and those are the facts I go by. Not someone that has never did anything that I am aware of for the unemployed, seniors, poor people, but run their mouths against the few that have. I also know Bernie is not perfect but no one is! Not many would go up against what Bernie has for half the time he has. You sure haven't! Bernie has been critical of corporations longer than any of the others have! Bernie is more for our freedoms than most of the others are and that is proven when he voted against The Patriot Act that most politicians voted for on both sides that has taken some of our freedoms away.
