@GregoryWonderwheel Since you seem to know exactly what Bernie should and shouldn't do you should run for office! All of the other candidates that dropped out before Bernie did and endorsed Biden as well as Clyburg endorsing Biden but you have no criticism for them, right? Or for the major news media that was bashing Bernie most every step of the way. Most would never go up against what Bernie has. I doubt you would.

Everyone and I do mean everyone that is for the policies Bernie is fighting for instead of being critical should run for office and do better if they think they can do better!! Bernie has been mostly alone fighting for us for decades but the thanks he gets is all of the criticism. He really should go home and enjoy whatever time he has left with his family instead of still fighting for us. He genuinely believes Trump to be worst so he was not going to do anything to increase Trump's chances of winning. I will save my criticism for all of the fake progressives that dropped out before Bernie did and supported Biden along with Clyburg's endorsing Biden. As well as the hypocrites that spend months bashing Bernie for what they never bashed other candidates for. Sure Bernie is not perfect but most people would never go up against what Bernie has for one year much less decades. AOC wanted to call it quits after only how long in office? But then she didn't quit. I wonder if she would had been able to handle for decades what Bernie has. I just betcha most of the people criticizing Bernie are among those that would never go up against what Bernie has but they will keep running their mouth because Bernie didn't do things like everyone thought he should. Progressives are so divided. Unless real progressives unite we will never have a progressive president but good luck on finding that perfect person that some of you are looking for.

Bernie pointed out their policies differences which is why I voted for him for his policies not because I needed him to do anything else. Because so called progressives did as Obama wanted and dropped out and endorsed Biden along with Clyburg's endorsement is why there will be people suffering needlessly! The major news media criticized him, many so called progressives criticized him for things they never criticized the other candidates for, Along with the other candidates criticism of him and that is exactly why Bernie lost. Not because he didn't do everything the way you and some others wanted him to.

@audiosane4214 Mistakes? What mistakes did Bernie make with the under 45 year olds that he won the majority of their votes? Not to mention he won with Independents in some states. Didn't seem to matter to them if he was perfect but matter to them the POLICIES he was for. As for the over 50 group I am telling you there is nothing Bernie could had done differently to win most of the Obama, Clyburg, Pete, and other candidate supporters that were clearly for Biden. You forget how popular Obama was? Still is! And while I am no Obama supporter there is enough that is that listen to him and listened to the major news media! Not to mention those I heard REPEAT so called progressives criticisms towards Bernie as a reason to not vote for him. And I did write "so called progressives" or did you miss that? Meaning the ones that claim to be progressives that are NOT! So I know they are moderates or Republican lite. Bashing real progressives for something that others do not get bashed for is being hypocritical and while I am not saying you did that, don't know if you did or didn't but there are many that did and that along with the other reasons I mentioned is why Bernie lost, period. I hold candidates accountable for their policies, their VOTING record, not all of this crap that people so divided what to criticism him for when some of them the very things they criticism him for they didn't criticize the other so called progressives for that did the EXACT same thing. I know exactly what I am talking about. I talked to enough Biden supporters that voted for him during the primary to know exactly why they didn't vote for Bernie and it has nothing to do with the criticism you and others are throwing at him. I also heard people some of them at Bernie's rallies say they EXPECTED him to support the nominee no matter who it was AS WELL AS some of his own top staffers criticized Bernie for not dropping out sooner. Bernie wouldn't had won with some people no matter what he did or didn't do. I remain focused on policies while you and some others seem to want the perfect progressive candidate. Good luck with that.

@audiosane4214 To ask his supporters to do a better job reaching older people that are not on social media educating them on the difference between Communism and Democratic Socialism instead of spending so much time on social media with people that already know.

@audiosane4214 Bernie talked about what Democratic Socialism is in great length! People that believe he is a communist is not going to take as much time listening to the one they think is a communist as they would people in their neighborhoods! Bernie also addressed the accusations of being a Castro supporter. IMO you rather just pick him apart. The major news media didn't give Bernie or his supporters much of a chance to explain anything on the major news networks although they did try a few times. There is nothing Bernie could had said differently that would had given him any better chances so why should I go trying to criticize one of the few that has been there fighting for policies we need? But if there is one thing I would had liked him to do differently is to had top staffers that would had encourage him in the fight instead of the ones that were trying to get him to drop out early. Bernie is not perfect. No one is. He won with voters under 45 and with many Independents so sounds like most were voting for him for his policies and voting record instead of trying to find a reason to not vote for him. Maybe if Bernie were meaner like it seems you and some others wanted him to be then he wouldn't have the compassion for us like most of the others don't have for us that is in the House and Senate.

@audiosane4214 Older voters were not just fixated on who they thought had the biggest chances to win and with Obama's popularity it was easy for them to believe the communism scare, too, with so many people pushing that, too. I heard Bernie address it enough for anyone that wasn't brainwashed to know he wasn't that and you think cable news would had aired it if Bernie had went harder? They bashed him enough over what he did say on the major news and gave him little coverage as it was. How do I know there was nothing else Bernie could had done? I thought I had mentioned (but not going to read back through this thread to see if I did or not) I had talked to many older voters in PERSON, and online, some of them friends of my family and they just thought Biden was great and it's the Republicans fault blocking the Dems from passing any meaningful legislation. Picking Bernie apart is just another reason why he lost those that couldn't resist every chance they got talking about what they hated about Bernie during the entire primary. Whether or not you were part of that doesn't matter as many were. When the best candidate running (as in the only one having the record of being a real progressive) is picked apart that does also hurt their chances of winning. I heard enough people repeat all of that crap as a reason to not vote for Bernie. Look, I came out of the Republican party during the last primary just to vote for Bernie based on his RECORD, especially his voting record even though not perfect it was more perfect than the others, based on the decades of his consistency for the policies I am for NOT for who he calls his friend but I can tell you if I had listened to some so called progressives that spend hours upon hours for years bashing Bernie first instead of searching his record I would not had voted for him. Some of them divisive hypocrites. I didn't become a Dem since cross over voting is allowed in my state I am a Independent. Maybe if Bernie was meaner the way you and some others wanted him to be then he wouldn't be the compassionate person he is to the working class, poor, veterans, and seniors. Yes, you and others are expecting Bernie to be perfect. He won with voters 45 to 50 and under as well as with Independents in some states. They were not interested in a perfect candidate but a consistent one that fights for the policies they/we need. They had no problem with all of the imperfections that you and others are bringing up. The majority of older voters are not on social media and are brainwashed. Bernie has been mostly alone for decades. EVERYONE that has been so critical of him should run for office instead of running their big mouths against him. I really do wish he would go home and spend the rest of whatever time he has left with his family instead of fighting for policies for us with all of the ingrates out there. You think Bernie did little. I disagree but we have both made our points so no need in continuing to waste each other's time. No doubt I repeated some of what I already said as I didn't have time to go back and read what I had already written here but I am surprised Bernie has put up with as much as he has for as long as he has not only from the major news media, the establishment, Big Pharma, Wall Street and others but from so called progressives, too,with so many angry at him for not being perfect and yes this is about him not being perfect, not being the way you and some others want him to be, he should go home and let others go up against what he has for decades so we can see how well they do! Although it would be a lot easier for them than it was for Bernie fighting for policies years before the majority of people were for them like they are now.

@audiosane4214 I have had so many Bernie supporters tell me they are so "relieved Biden won"! Now until progressives unite where the majority want differently then you are wrong to expect one person to go up against what the majority does not want! And the majority didn't want to take any chances of another Trump win regardless of what you think that means or doesn't mean. Not to mention some of Bernie's own top staffers criticizing him for not dropping out sooner. He ran on his policies while making sure to not guarantee another Trump win so I suggest you get out there and spread how perfect you expect the next progressives candidates to be. I don't misrepresent your points! I tell you my points about your points! Now, since you have it all figured out you should run for office so we can see you put your words into some meaningful action In the meantime make sure you follow or continue to follow and repeat what some so called progressives say that are divisive hypocrites which also guarantees us to not have a progressive win the presidency!!

See, that's the problem with the people that keep expecting Bernie to do what they want him to even if it meant him being alone doing it. He has fought enough in his lifetime being alone at times and mostly alone at other times. I think he did more than most any other person would have done. As for your other comment, "Again, I'm not asking for a perfect candidate. That's you misrepresenting my opinions." That is me letting you know how your criticisms of Bernie comes across to me because after all he has the policies so if he did what you and others expect on everything then he would be the perfect candidate which is my point there is no perfect candidate so we can't expect them to do everything we want them to. I am not trying to "distort" your words. I am just telling you how they come across to me. I don't like Biden at all. I don't think he will do anything to make things better for the middle class, seniors, veterans, or the poor, but I just understand why Bernie didn't hit harder and stayed on policies. He was not willing to take the chance of Trump winning and things getting worse! Which is exactly what he would had been doing to hit any harder than he did. Your very first comment, implied progressives should be "angry" at Bernie... going on to say, "How many Americans will die over the next 4 years as a result? " Which to me was implying whether you meant to or not that it will be Bernie's fault Americans that die the next 4 years as a result of him not hitting Biden harder and to me that was being very disrespectful to the ONLY candidate with a record of fighting for us for decades even when it could had cost him his political career. I think that alone is a reason to not be angry at him but very grateful that he has finally helped get the majority of Americans on board with the policies we have long needed in this country. I see it as, If you didn't want the perfect candidate or expect Bernie to be perfect then you wouldn't be angry and want others angry at him. @audiosane4214 Some people don't listen to the credits only the criticisms! I know I heard enough of those criticisms repeated by people as a reason to not vote for him. That can hurt the chances of a candidate winning. Who do I think will win 2024? I think it depends whether or not masses of people go out and demand the changes we need just like in the past that is what it took to get some changes. If I had my rathers, I think the People's movement party (I can't remember right off if that is their name) should start NOW promoting a candidate to run by having rallies, as much coverage as they can get and my preference is Nina Turner. The only reason I don't say Bernie is he needs to enjoy the rest of his life and let others take up that fight now. I don't think progressives can just talk the talk between primaries but need to stay active the entire time between primaries instead of just depending on any one progressive to do everything they think they should. You have said what you think is disrespectful and I have done the same. I really don't think there is any point in continuing this? We aren't going to change each other's minds when it comes to what Bernie should had or shouldn't had done.

Did you read any comments to you with my cussing or calling you names such as stupid or ignorant like so many people do? That is when you would know I am not calm. I have lots of conversations with people that we disagree with (some of them I call my friend lol) but when it gets to the point we have expressed our differences and start repeating the same then as busy as I am and some of my friends we know we don't need to waste each other's time continuing the same conversation. I do agree with you on one thing and that is I don't think any progressive Dems will primary Biden or Harris and if Harris would take over as president I think only a progressive woman such as Nina Turner could beat her because too many people vote for a woman just because she is a woman.
