I don't like that part of the bill, either, but it was either that, too, or nothing for the unemployed. You think you can do better run for office and do it. Some of you guys think you might see it I am telling you most of you don't see it you don't even know what's coming because you've paid attention to other people talking about Bernie Sanders didn't say something or he called Joe Biden his friend and that got you distracted from watching the Tsunami come through. Sorry about that is just low hanging fruit that some of these alt media people will bang on to get likes and clicks but the Tsunami coming through is very real and it's going to harm your children it's going to harm you it's going to harm your friends and your neighbors. It's going to harm everyone in this country, black, white, gay, straight. There's going to be some rich people that survive it without any kind of real issue. There's going to be an incredible amount of pain coming and we can't sit there and worry about whether Bernie tried to curry favor by not pissing off all of the boomers that love Biden and have memories of Obama being a god and people that lived and died for the Clinton's. He's got to some how or another win just enough of their vote over to be able to make a difference because he's hoping that the people don't go ahead and start sh*t talking him moving off into some bizarro Tulsi land okay and that they stay firmly rooted in the movement so that he can go out there and curry those people that otherwise wouldn't give a progressive the time of day because they are still living in the McCarthyism era. And that is EXACTLY what Jimmy Dore is when he bashed Bernie for YEARS on not going Independent but when several months ago Tulsi told Jimmy she would not go Independent Jimmy never bashed her for it. She said basically the same as Bernie about trying to change the Dem party. Jimmy also bashing Bernie too death because he calls Biden his friend but never heard him go off on Tulsi defending Ellen being friends with a war criminal. Tulsi did not defend Bush being a war criminal but she did defend Ellen being friends with one! But Jimmy a problem with who Bernie calls his friend. Jimmy also okay when Tulsi defended Biden's racist record. And now that Tulsi has endorsed Biden with her saying lovely things about Biden, Jimmy Dore went off on Bernie because of that, too LOL I am not bashing Tulsi for not going Independent or for endorsing Biden because I didn't Bernie and I hold candidates to the SAME standards! Unlike Jimmy having different standards for them. He's divisive and a hypocrite. I do disagree with some of Tulsi's policies. Jimmy Dore and his followers have hurt our movement! I hold them just as much responsible as I do the major news media.

Bernie signed a contract as they all did to support the Dem nominee but if he did go third party I would want him to start a new party, The Progressive Party.

@malinhead322 Well, I can't disagree on how long it would take but with the system we have now including our voting system there would have to be changes for any third party candidate to win. I wonder if writing in Bernie would give him any better chances? Some people say write in votes don't count others say they do.

Finally someone puts the blame where it's due! Obama. Too many older people think he is a god so they think the same about Biden which is exactly a large part of the reason Bernie couldn't reach them. No matter what Bernie would had done he wouldn't had reached them. I talked to enough Biden supporters to know that.

Fred Davis Finally, something we can kinda agree on! But that is not because Bernie didn't try to get Medicare for all FIRST as he has tried for decades but then Bernie got something included in that bill to help some people something to do with Medicaid? So once again there was something in the bill good that had Bernie vote for it and I have heard some people say it helped them so it was better than nothing for them but not as good as Medicare for all, not even close.

Ron Maimon Another one supporting a hypocrite that didn't call out Tulsi for defending someone calling a war criminal their friend, only who Bernie calls his friend, or any of the other things she did that Bernie did the same on but Jimmy totally had a love fest with her LOL the entire time having different standards for each of them. I only disagreed with Tulsi on her policies since I am focused on policies as I held both of them to the SAME standards.

Trumpet Music Bernie called Bernie out on their differences in policies! Where you not paying attention? Were you ever a Bernie supporter to start with? Bernie exposed Biden in the last debate as a liar on Social Security and in ads, too, but who did most Floridians say they trust on Social Security? Biden LOL Bernie also exposed other parts of Biden's horrible record. I've talked to enough Biden supporters to know why they voted for him and not Bernie and it has nothing to do with Bernie not having attacked Biden harder.

@trumpetmusic5672 NEWS FLASH Bernie won in several states with Independents as well as with voters age 45 to 50 and under and by the way after leaving the Republican party that is what I became, a Independent. As a Independent I care more about Bernie's policies then who he calls his friend!

He's been saying for decades we need Medicare for all. Where have you been? But NOW when he KNOWS he can NOT get it passed is it not better for him to push what he can get now to get the treatment for the cornavirus paid for then go back to pushing what he's been fighting for years for. Maybe if all the progressives that thinks Bernie is weak would run for office, too, it would help get it passed sooner.

Now, I heard Trump lied about saying the TREATMENT for Coronavirus is covered but feel free to give me the source to prove he signed that BILL into law where ALL COSTS FOR THE TREATMENT WOULD BE PAID FOR BY THE GOV.? Bernie does not have enough people behind him to get the corp Dems and Republicans to pass the bills Bernie HAS RIGHT NOW FOR MEDICARE FOR ALL!

Yes, it took people to get many hard policies passed and I also know Bernie was for some of them leading on them when it was NOT politically popular risking his own political career!! Just like it wasn't popular last primary when he was talking about Medicare for all and other policies. If he was a follower he would had never pushed the policies he is for that the others are not for. ALL OF THE CANDIDATES had to sign to support the nominee. I voted for Bernie for his policies that have not changed not for who he endorsed in the last primary or who he will in this one. I know on the VOTING floor he has gone against them in both parties and that is NOT a follower that does that such as when he voted against the Patriot Act that took some of our freedoms away while many in both parties voted for it. Such as the bad trade deals that most in both parties voted for and he voted against. Such as he lead AGAINST the Iraq war and did NOT follow the others. Such as when Obama and Biden pushed Social Security cuts with almost every Dem on board Bernie did NOT follow and instead he started a movement against that and thankfully those cuts didn't pass as well as standing on picket lines when others didn't as well as getting higher wages for some workers while other politicians were silent just to give a few examples so don't tell me to forget Bernie when he hasn't forgotten us just because he doesn't do things the way you think he should! If you have the backbone run for office and get those things done! Cenk attacked them hard and lost. Tulsi took out Harris at the time and it gained her no votes so you are wrong thinking you have all the right answers on why Bernie isn't winning!!

I won't argue with the need of a third party but if you are going to try to build it up by bashing Bernie you can forget it going anywhere except with haters like you that hate Bernie for not doing things the way you wanted him to totally ignoring what he has accomplished and what else he is still trying to accomplish. I am sure you will get a lot of them but someone like me would never join any movement that smeared and/OR lied about him. AOC never had a consistent record that BERNIE does have! And exactly how can Bernie get anywhere when everyone else are the ones that cave on POLICIES which Bernie has never caved on trying to get. I was never on board with Dems! When I left the Republican to vote for Bernie and only for Bernie I became a Independent. I searched his RECORD first including his voting record otherwise if I had listened to people like you and some called progressives that hurt the movement just as much as the major news media has I would had stayed a Republican. Right now, Nina Turner is the only one that I trust other than Bernie. People should be trying to draft her to lead a new third party after Bernie drops out but you sure as heck won't get her if you bash Bernie in the process.
