You might want to do some research. Temperament tests: Studies from the American Temperament Test Society (ATTS) show that pbulls often score well on temperament tests, sometimes even ranking higher than other popular breeds like Golden Retrievers. They are not inherently more aggressive than all other dog breeds; the idea that they are is a misconception, and factors like upbringing and training play a much larger role in a dog's behavior than breed alone.

Have you been around that dog to make that judgement? Think you are more of an expert than the certified dog trainers and others that were around the dog that said different than you.

@treestuffer There are comparison with other breeds! Like I wrote that's not the only research I've done. According to research and animal welfare organizations, pit bulls are not inherently more aggressive than all other dog breeds; the idea that they are is a misconception, and factors like upbringing and training play a much larger role in a dog's behavior than breed alone.

Brian I've had dogs for over 45 years and some of them would tear their toys but never harmed anyone so that alone proves nothing. My vet even said they were very sweet dogs.

Bean that's not the only research I've done so I think it means exactly what it reads but I feel sure you think you know more than they do.

@treestuffer Could you be trying to lie making it seem like that I wrote that is the only research I've done? OR are you trying to say all of the animal welfare organizations and other experts have lied? Take it up with them. I have also had neighbors that had more than one dog. One a PB the other another breed. The PB was never aggressive when people would go near their fenced yard while the other dog was. Maybe you just think that owner behavior with their dogs, training them, has nothing to do with it? I put ALL the information together I read before drawing my conclusions. Anyone can just go by one side of it if they choose. And in the case of Conan those videos showing all the people with the dog speaks for itself.

@treestuffer And by the way since you seem so focused only on your claim the ATTS said it's not meant to compare breeds while on the lawgroup I read about that made no mention there of the test not meant to compare other breeds so maybe that lawgroup you should contact them and imply what they have written there is a lie?? Otherwise I am through with the discussion about that test that I read about in addition to my other research that had nothing to do with that test. That lawgroup has a lot of info there on both sides of this issue regarding PB's.

@treestuffer I said I was finished with that discussion but you asked a question, needing clarification so here is my answer.... What I am saying is there at their site they have comparisons there on the breeds regarding those tests BUT they do not say one way or the other about your ATTS claim. ALSO THERE is OTHER research there INCLUDING a AVMA an in-depth literature review to analyze existing studies. Their findings indicate that there is no single breed that stands out as the most dangerous. Someone needs to understand ALL the situations that can make any breed dangerous or not.
