There is things I disagree with on both sides but I would put our freedoms above all the other policies I am for/against as long as I don't have a reason to mistrust the person on that! DeSantis is for our freedoms so I can over look anything else I disagree with him about if there is no one to vote for that is for our freedoms and the policies I am for.

Trump and Biden have their Die Hard supporters. For the rest of us that would consider voting for DeSantis but not Trump people might think about that. I sure won't vote for Biden or a egotistical hothead like Trump is. Not only that but the way Trump says one thing one day then something different on another day. Not to mention other things I disagree with Trump on. I am an Independent so I do disagree with a lot on both sides.

Even if a lot of people don't use cash now it is STILL AN OPTION! And while there is nothing yet to indicate just how much control the government will have over us with digital currency it sure OPENS THE DOOR FOR THEM TO!

Yes there is if enough people vote in politicians they can stop it. If it's not stopped it certainly is not because it can't be stopped.

@carlosruizbothwell2132 Restricting books to children in school is not the same as banning books like your OP wanted to suggest. I don't agree with Bible lessons in school OR sexually explicit books! What adults want to read, talk about with their children is their business. In schools it is NOT their business to have other people's children taught what they want them to be.

@carlosruizbothwell2132 So you want to pick and choose, impose your views, what you deem appropriate in schools is no different than people that would do the same but with opposite views of yours. Most people pay taxes that goes into public schools so if parents don't have the means to homeschool shouldn't feel like they have to. What something makes you think or do is not going to be the same for everyone. I do not want any books banned for adults but my rights, your rights, that we have is not the same as the rights of children to have without their parents consent. This is a very divided country! Even among people within the same political parties. The only way for everyone to have their rights as adults is for them to not impose them on other people's children. Like I wrote whatever adults want to believe and teach their children at home is fine with me. Well, as long as they are NOT teaching them to do violence. But in the classroom there is no way to respect everyone's beliefs so that should be done at home with their parents. I don't know about anyone else but I didn't go to school to learn about divided issues but things everyone can agree on, how to spell, how to do Math, how to read, not what to read, things like that.

@carlosruizbothwell2132 Not the learning children especially in grade school need where their minds are not developed enough to reason between what's true and what's not. I won't open a can of worms thinking about one thing that got taught in school having to do with history that through research I learned is not accurate (has nothing to do with sexual explicit books or Bible based teachings) so again I say just let their parents teach them what they feel like they are old enough to learn when it comes to the topics we've discussed as that does vary from age to age and that way if it turns out to be wrong no one to blame but the parents LOL. Remember when there was an uproar to remove prayer and the pledge from schools? Those parents that didn't want their children participating in that but they didn't do me any harm or anyone else I know but it's those parents right to not want their children exposed to prayer or God based materials in school. No different than the other topics we discussed.
