I don't trust any treats anymore unless I KNOW they are made in the USA AND with all of the ingredients made in the USA, too!! Personally I also don't feed any gmos foods or treats to my dog or myself. There is also a lot of other ingredients, artificial flavors, preservatives, etc. that is not good for humans or animals.

Those of you that would vote this down must sell those sickening treats!? I wouldn't trust any of you to be around kids or animals! And I am sure a lot of adults wouldn't want to be around you, either! One day you will want compassion and I hope you get none!!

I hate to break it to you but do you know what they find sometimes in chickens that are even in the USA? I am not saying Costco's chicken jerky is safe or not. I haven't done research to know that and I am also not saying that the FDA is wrong when they say the arsenic found in chickens is in such small amounts it won't hurt you but I am saying I won't trust them to know if it would hurt me and my dog or not so I am very picky where I get chicken and beef from. I have to know not only where they got the chickens from but what they feed them, too, and if it's non gmo.

I cringe when people recommend sweet potatoes and I know they put that in some dog foods, too, but when my dog had struvites the vet said no sweet potatoes. When I went to homemade avoiding sweet potatoes and other foods my dog never had struvites again. I know it's like humans. One food doesn't hurt one person but does another so it's the same with dogs some dogs can eat some foods that other dogs can't eat and then of course there are some human foods that dogs should avoid totally!! I'm sorry your dog has heart disease :(

Took me years to learn enough to feel good about what I feed my dog. I'm not sure about cats but Dr. Karen Becker is a good vet that I would trust whatever she recommended and stay away from what she doesn't recommend.

Why do some dogs get sick and others don't? Why do some foods hurt some humans but don't hurt other humans? Just the way it is but I will avoid any foods for both my dog and myself if there is any chance at all that it's not safe or contains any ingredients that I don't feel is safe!

I hate it that we have to learn these lessons the hard way :( I wish I had learned about all the bad stuff in most (if not all) commercial dog foods, I wish I had learned years sooner. I hope your fur babies are good now! Anyone feeing their dogs homemade food make sure to google search which ones are not safe for dogs to eat.

If you knew their standards in China you wouldn't even ask that!

There are some foods that are good for humans that is not good for animals! Always research to make sure it's ok to give any food to pets. Some are, some aren't.

I know the FDA states that small amounts of arsenic that they find in chickens are safe. I am like WHAT? Maybe a small amount would not hurt one person but hurt another. I sure won't chance it. Not all filters remove fluoride from water. Make sure you get a filter that removes all the bad stuff. Some people might ignore good advice given like the ones that voted down this video (I wouldn't trust them to care about humans, either) but I wish I would have had someone to teach me growing up on how to properly take care of dogs and cats. My dad would just throw them out in the yard so to speak feeding them anything never really giving them attention that they needed. Took me years when I became an adult to learn all of the things every pet owner should be aware of. After many dogs and cats died from contaminated foods I started researching and thing is while I was researching their foods I was learning a lot about our foods, too. When I learned about GMOS I went through my pantry item by item calling them to see if it was gmo and if they told me they weren't sure (I got that a lot) I threw it out. They weren't sure? Right LOL They are also over vaccinating a lot of pets, too! I'm NOT saying to not vaccinate. I am saying they over vaccinate.

I agree homemade is the best but I don't agree it's cheaper LOL At least not if you feed the foods that I know are the safest such as gmo free but feeding homemade can sure save on the vet bills if they don't get sick as much.

There is an ingredient in some Peanut Butter, I can't remember right now what it is but someone can google search to find out that is NOT good for dogs to have! You might know that but just in case someone reads your comment that don't, thought I would let them know. Just because a dog loves something doesn't mean that it's good for them.

Very good advice about researching! I am so sorry about your Shepard :( There is so much we have to learn and watch out for with our pets. In addition to foods learn about how pets are over vaccinated, too!! I'm not saying to not vaccinate but I am saying they over vaccinate. My last dog suffered kidney failure after she was vaccinated.

Yes, that's true just make sure to research what human foods are safe for pets and which ones aren't.

Oh you are so right!! Some people don't realize how pets feel pain, too, because pets don't show it until it's really bad. My last dog showed pain yelping constantly her last two days. She had kidney failure after being vaccinated. Not much attention is given to how they over vaccinate. I'm not saying to not vaccinate but many do over vaccinate pets. I will always regret not having my dog put to sleep two days sooner as I will never forget that pain she had :( Remember, too, just because something is made in the USA does not mean they got the ingredients here!! They can get ingredients from other countries, make the product here then call it USA made so make sure the ingredients come from here, too!
