@tjmarx In my opinion, Amazon does act like a dictator when you can only sell your products through them at the price they set. Try and sell it for more, you loose the buy window. We no longer have a free market or a free internet. And please don't try to say like others on here keep saying, that it's always been this way. It hasn't.

@tjmarx How did Amazon obtain the digital rights to books? And why is it that laws have been changed giving social media sites rights to charge for music while musicians are receiving little to no royalties payments? When laws protect corporations and not the artist or consumer, what kind of government is that?

@NathanTeaches $30 to lease more digital books so you're locked into paying Amazon to access them. Cancel your Kindle account and all you books go bye-bye. At lease Amazon could tell you up front you're renting from them.

@andrewn7365 I remember when the internet was really free and people did share their digital data. In the US, a Net Nutrality law was passed allowing the government to regulate the flow of information and overnight, the internet changed. Not for the better.
