@MrPhotodoc Hospitals/ doctors have to follow whatever treatment HHS tells them, if they want to get paid. Thanks to the ACA which is socialized healthcare.

@Michd0417 You do. You really do. Maybe this is all for the better. With people not trusting the medical profession anymore, they might take better care of themselves. I know I am.

Listen to your body and follow your gut.

@DailyStalkerUpdate Can't sue them. They're working under the governments umbrella of immunity.
2
@DailyStalkerUpdate I stand corrected. Hospitals can be sued. The tort laws in California make it very hard to sue the doctor.
2
This is what happens when HHS dictates policies to the hospital and insurance companies.

@ahhitskatie9094 With the 20 tax increases in the ACA that's being passed on to consumers, it's not the facilities being greedy.
2
Between the HIPAA and the ACA, we now have government run socialized healthcare. That's why it's gotten so bad.
2
@bethhc Between the HIPAA and ACA laws, everything is reported to Health and Human Services. If the reports aren't complete or don't show the hospitals and doctors followed HHS treatment for patients, reimbursement is withheld. We now have government run socialized healthcare. That's why all the good doctors and nurses left and why our healthcare has declined so much.

Now that we have a government run socialized healthcare, it is horrible. Number 1 reason for bankruptcy is medical. And that's with insurance.
2
@GusTrevot I'm so sorry. How horrible. Can I ask, did your family sue the hospital?

@marshallarnold-ep7nn Had a nurses aid that raked of alcohol. If I could smell it, so could the head nurse.
1
@abdiver12 No....when Covid first broke, hospitals laid nurse off since all elective surgery was canceled. When the dancing nurse videos started on social media, they obviously weren't swamped. Now, people are afraid to go to the hospital and I can't blame them.

@r3sfernjbb That's terrible. Hope you told him that wasn't any of his damn business.

Just since the ACA was passed. That's when our healthcare started to go down the tubes.
1
@MrJSpicoli Yep!
1
@CL-mp4vn What is up with that? You ask a simple question and get a unrelated answer. Learned to first say, this is a yes or no question, so they can't dodge it.
1
@nalou6933 They can't spent time with patients. They're to busy reporting every little thing they do to HHS. Same with nurses.

@kanj1639 It's the ACA that changed our once reliable, affordable healthcare system where patients are now viewed as units of investment. The new "Complete Lives System" even states the elderly and handicap will get rationed care, because there's no return on their investment.
