If you're scared of your dog being shot, how about controlling your dog. smh

D You have 0 evidence to know what the officer felt at that moment. If it was a chihuahua I could see your point. But pitbulls are known for horrible attacks. I know you probably want the dog to first bite the cop before he can shoot. But I wouldn't take the risk.

D You just let your emotions to determine. But from this video (which isn't even the fully video) you can clearly see the pitbull (not a chihuahua okay) who has been recklessly set loose by the owner approach the officer. Instead of blaming the officer who rightfully didn't take a risk of protecting himself, you shold blame the owner. But I won't expect that from you, since you are just letting your emotions determine.
2
D You can't say he doesn't fear for his life without his testimony. And you calling that pitbull a puppy show enough that you are just being emotional and don't see danger where there is danger.

D You said it. A mistake. Now take the responsibility of your mistake.

D If a dog comes to attack me, because his owner made a mistake. I'm not going to hold back and defend myself.

D The dog didn't attack the cop because luckily the cop was on time. And how do you know he didn't have any fear? You should look up pitbulls charging at people, he had every reason to defend himself. What you are trying to do is, instead of putting the responsibility on the owner for recklessly letting the pitbull loose, to the person who defended himself.

D A video is not proof of what someone does or doesn't feel, especially when you don't even have the full video. In a situation where a reckless owner releases his pitbull on officers, it's very tactical to shoot it to defend yourself.
