In my town delivery trucks always park in the midblock crosswalk next to my office because Mainstreet is lined with angled parking and apparently they can't be bothered to drive around back and use that entrance to the "mall". (Its hard to describe, its basically a hallway with shops and stuff like a mall but its way smaller and very pedestrian friendly)

A reasonable example is that in rural areas charging infrastructure for EVs is very lacking (to the point your own home is probably your only charger), and its much more likely that FedEx or UPS could maintain 5 electric delivery vehicles for a town than every resident upgrades to EVs in the same timeframe. (This assumes EVs are made ethically and will have lower lifecycle emissions than ICEs, generally this is true)
