Just a reminder, the most direct descendant of KGB is Ukrainian SBU.

@cybergenie7 "Respect" for a junkie who lead hundreds of thousands of men into certain death in an unwinnable war that his own action lead to? Wow, I see it doesn't take much to earn your respect.

@Nat_onYT Yes, Zelensky started it by inviting NATO in

@KarimLaksir-AchegaYear9 why would the USA ever care about how the Ukraine would rebuild? This country was never meant to last anyway.
1
@13cerealguy of course he would turn down a peace agreement. He has no agency, just a muppet.
1
The Ukraine is not the USA, neither is it a "country" in the full meaning of the world. The situation is much more complicated than that.
1
@DieyoungDiefast but there’s no “new Soviet Union”, and the US is the world’s only superpower. The US have fought for their independence for 8 years, plus they have reinforced their right for their lands in a civil war. The Ukraine appeared out of nowhere without any war or uprising in 1991, with the majority of their population not even wanting independence (clearly shown by the results of a referendum held in March 1991).

@Rick70567 just like you can’t be a woman when you’re born a man, you can’t be a sovereign nation just because you fancy yourself one.

@funfungerman8401 no, of course the Crimea has never been “ethnic Ukrainian”. It’s been majority ethnic Crimean Tatar, then majority ethnic Russian. And even we imagine it was majority ethnic Ukrainian, it does not give the Ukraine any special rights on it. Ethnicity does not equal state borders

@ I would also add that this land that they consider "theirs" was given to them for free. So it can be just as easily taken back.
1
@funfungerman8401 it’s always been the case, why should it be different in 2025?
1
@funfungerman8401 yes, I would very much like to live in a world with more straightforward politics without hipocrisy. My country lost a lot of its ancestral land without any war or uprising or anything like that just because it was lead by gullible people who believed in a brave new world without wars and competition.

Putin being a dictator is not exactly a secret. However, if both warring countries are ruled by dictators, why side with the Ukraine and not with Russia?
1
Zelensky is not Churchill, neither is this war WW2
1
@SpecialBrewCan but Putin is no Hitler, neither is the 2022 Ukraine the 1939 Poland. The analogy lacks any sense.
1
@SomeGuy-lw2po the independence that Ukrainians themselves voted AGAINST in March 1991? Of course, the "independence" of this country, at least in the current borders, was neither legal nor legitimate.
1
@jevgenijs39 Neither is the Ukraine
1
So if one person is a dictator, there can be no other dictators in the world, or what's your logic?
1
it's not theirs
1
@issamkholoud2009 "Syrians won" - what do you mean?
1
@Nat_onYT It's not "his" country and "Putin rebuilding the Soviet Union" is the most boomer bullsquid I've heard.
