@52Tenor pfff, tell people in the Crimea or Donetsk that "no country acknowledged this is Russian territory". As if it's up to some other countries to decide.

@DOWNUNDER. why do you pray for it? Don't you understand that the longer the Ukrainian army keeps the pointless struggle, the more civilians will die from both sides?

@jimduffield7822 why is it unfortunate? If not for the nuclear weapons, the Western power would've invaded Russia a 100 times already, like they did before 1945.

@stephengillott9435 it's war. People die in wars. However, with the Ukraine being the prize, I wouldn't say it's "nothing but Putin's ego". This war started 30 years ago when some brilliant morally impeccable people believed it would be a great idea to strip Russia of its ancient lands and thought nobody would object.

@stephengillott9435 nobody said war is a pleasant business though. I've just said there's more to this war than "Putin's ambitions". Russians know what they're fighting for.

@stephengillott9435 my good man, you underestimate the degree at which Russians learned to see through their government propaganda. Save for elderly people (even then, not all of them), no sane Russian believes Putin's media. Western people are sadly much worse to see through the propaganda in their own countries. The latter, however, is much more refined and cunning, probably that's why.
