@pauliewalnuts240 my good man, could you explain me something: if Russia doesn’t have “a thriving economy”, “growing industries” or “modern culture” (what does this even mean), why, when I travel to Western Europe from St. Petersburg (not even Moscow), I feel like I travelled 10 years back in time?

@chatnoir1224 why should I travel to a median city when I live in a big city, and when I compare big cities, it’s night and day? Any Russian from a poor little town can move to a bigger city and drastically improve their quality of life.

@chatnoir1224 why would we divide it when we are saying about whether country has a strong economy or not? China has a minuscule GDP per capita, can we call its economy weak then? If you’re so prone to chuckling, my good man, how would you comment on the US GDP PPP per capita being the 8th, almost half that of such economic powerhouse as Luxembourg and below Brunei?
