  1. our system is complicated too, I had a CT scan prior to getting a shoulder reconstruction, was under private insurance yet still had to pay $400 at the clinic, yet since, I have had a CT scan on my back, no private insurance, just Medicare, and didn't pay a cent. I am confused about that to this day.
