  1. Roundabouts are the most effective model to keep traffic flowing, the issue is, a lot of people don't learn how to properly use them, how to indicate onto and off, dual lane ones can be confusing to many aswell.

There are a lot of things not taught before getting your license here in Perth, I actually asked my instructor towards the end of my tests, are we gonna do a parallel park, he said no, but we did it anyway cause I wanted to, I don't park like that these days cause I have big fourby with a canopy, not that I can't do it, I just choose not to where possible, roundabouts have to make you think, where lights just tell what to do. I avoid traffic lights as much as possible.
