  1. When someone claimed less condensation I think you know full well that didn't mean inside the tent, just the underside of the tent, so when you pack up you dont have to deal with a wet bottom tent, just a cheap throwaway ground sheet like a tarp, or an expensive one if you're an idiot.

I've never used a ground sheet or 'footprint' on a hike or for abrasion purposes, only to keep my tent from getting dirty, or muddy underneath if it rains, so packing up is much easier, a 2 dollar tarp from Bunnings does the trick and it is much easier to clean than your tent when you get home.
