Indonesia is world's largest Muslim population country and Suharto banned expressions of Chinese culture through language, religion and culture and the ethnic Chinese were pressured to adopt Indonesian-sounding names. But Westerners don't care what happens to Chinese in Muslim countries, they only care about Muslims in China.

@iloveporkandchicken4718 In Indonesia, world's largest Muslim population country, don't the Indonesian government also teach Chinese in Indonesia their language, Bahasa Indonesia? Suharto even banned all expressions of Chinese culture through language, religion, and traditional festivals and the ethnic Chinese were pressured to adopt Indonesian-sounding names.

@brandonandreas4659 Those Uighur parents abroad are not illegal immigrants, and they are always welcome to come back to China. Their kids are clearly in Xinjiang, so they know where to go if they want to see them.

These Uighurs are Chinese citizens, so what's wrong with teaching them Mandarin and teaching them Chinese history? Xinjiang is part of China so the government is educating Chinese citizens isn't it? Don't Americans also teach their kids English, and American history as well? If you ask Hawaiin kids which country they belong to, don't they reply with United States?

@lethallizard963 It wasn't by choice, the Islamic invaders forced natives to convert to Islam or die by the sword. Islamic lore preaches death to non-believers, raping of their women and if non-Muslim marries a Muslim, they have to convert to Islam. What makes you think you know what is happening in Xinjiang? Do you know about the 1992 Urumqi bombings, the 1997 Ürümqi bus bombings, the 2010 Aksu bombing, the 2011 Hotan attack, 2011 Kashgar attacks and the 2014 Ürümqi attack, that were perpetrated by radical Uighurs in Xinjiang? Thanks to this program by the government, Xinjiang has been safe from Islamic terrorist attacks since then.

@jayshon1348 Why are you comparing China to Nazis? China today is currently at peace and not at war with any country, since our last major conflict in 1979. Instead of making war, China is investing in developing countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and also African countries like Chad, Sudan, Nigeria, Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Ghana, etc. Whereas the United States is warmonger, being involved in Gulf War, Iraq War, Afghan War, Syrian War, Libyan War, etc, even in the 21st century. The USA is bombing those countries (Iraq Body Count Project reported some 200,000 Iraqi civilian casualties) and enacting regime change by cutting off those country's "heads" (Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, etc) and then installing their own US puppet governments in place. Trump just narrowly avoided starting a fresh war with Iran.

@annomaly751 Look at the West, and they just bend over backward to accommodate Muslim immigrants. Muslim refugees are fleeing their conflict ridden Islamic countries and flooding the Western countries like United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, etc, and the Muslims are under little pressure to adapt to their predominantly Christian host countries, much to the chagrin of Westerners. For example, instead of adopting their host country's cultures, Muslims immigrants continue their traditional culture like Muslim men marrying multiple wives, or Muslim women wearing Muslim headveil out in public, and secretly, many Westerners are (understandably) angry that Muslims are not assimilating, but can't voice their honest opinions for fear of being labelled "racist" (even though Islam is not a race) or "Islamophobe." The Muslims take Westener's silence as acceptance of their ways.

@MrBlaxjax China is imparting positive Chinese virtues, like being studious and industrious, to Uighurs in Xinjiang (who are Chinese citizens by birth) and helping them graduate with proper education so that they can find a job and contribute positively to society, instead of being radicalized at a young age, migrating to the Middle East to join terrorists groups, and then sacrificing their lives (and their bright future) for the terrorist's causes.

@Madhur Gupta Xinjiang was first referred to as "Xiyu" (Chinese: 西域) under the Han dynasty, which drove the Xiongnu out of the Tarim Basin in 60 BCE (Han–Xiongnu War) in an effort to build and secure the profitable Silk Road. Only later did the Islamic invaders conquered the region and converted the natives to Islam.

@LizardKing360 Why be embarrassed to call yourself Chinese? I'm Chinese and I am proud of my country despite the numerous hardship it has endured over millennia. While other empires have since collapsed and Chinese civilization still lives on. Even Chinese characters have been in use since 1200 BCE, and constitute the oldest continuously used system of writing in the world, when even other ancient scripts like Sumerian Cuneiform (Mesopotamia) Latin and Egyptian Hieroglyphs have since become dead languages, since they are no longer evolving and no new words are being added to their vocabulary.

@caseymassey2394 At the 8 minute mark of the video, it shows that Uighur preschool enrollment has jumped 148% and Xinjiang region jumped by 82%, so isn't it good that more kids are getting enrolled in preschool and receiving a proper education? Left on their own, most Uighur parents won't even send their kids to school, that's why Uighur enrollment has been abysmally low in Xinjiang.

@jayshon1348 China runs a business, not a charity drive, and of course Chinese companies and banks expect to make some money off their investments. Which business or bank in the world does not want returns on investments? In African countries, China is helping build infrastructure like roads, railways, highways, bridges, powerstations, dams, ports, airpots in exchange for raw materials to power our growth. China has done much to help improve Africa in just decades as compared to what Westerners been doing in Africa for centuries.

@dustyeyer3573 Ancient Chinese nobility wore luxurious silk clothing since 4th millennium BCE, while the rest of the world wore mostly loincloths and "bedsheets" called togas. Silk was much prized by rest of the world, so much that a lucrative trade route had been set up and named in honor of the precious material. Along the Silk Road, flowed Chinese luxury goods like silk, tea, paper, gunpowder, porcelain (precious china), etc, that were in high demand by the rest of the ancient world.

@mdi8164 Over 50 years ago, nobody ever expected "communist" China would ever succeed, or that we will play an important role in the world. When the Soviet Union collapse in 1990s, everyone fully expected China to soon follow. But China defied all expectations of failure, and transformed from a dirt-poor, war-torn, starving country in the past, into an economic powerhouse today, the world's factory (Made in China), a growing scientific and technological power, protected by world's largest land army, the People's Liberation Army. And its all been achieved under the CCP leadership, the same party that the Western anti-Communist propaganda have been denouncing all this while. Despite their biased predictions of China's failure, China today is very successful under the CCP rule, so why continue to believe the biased Western propaganda?

@robinfrost5561 In India, you see some beggars or drunkard along the streets, yet these people are allowed to make political decisions regarding the country's future? Why allow ordinary people to vote in political decisions that will affect the country's future? Ordinary people may not necessarily vote responsibly (e.g they fail to turn up to vote) or they may make decisions based on emotions not logic (e.g. Many British don't like foreigners, so they voted for Britain to leave the EU) Or they may lack political awareness of the country's situation, or they may simply be easily influenced by foreign powers (e.g Russian interference in US elections) Why not allow the people who know how to govern, govern? That's what China did, and look how much China is ahead of India. The Indians have been brainwashed into thinking that "democracy is the best form of government" when China is living proof that not all countries have to adopt Western democracy to be successful.

@perrychrispy1 Of course, in every classroom there will always be those troublemakers. And if you disobey Chinese laws, then you will be punished under Chinese laws isn't it? Those Uighur people attending classes don't look like they are being tortured, instead China is imparting positive Chinese virtues like being studious and industrious to them.

At least in China, the schools are teaching Uighurs Mandarin Chinese (most spoken language in the world by number of speakers) and jobskills, so that they can graduate and become productive members of society, instead of being misguided by terrorism.

@brandonandreas4659 If you have committed a capital offense in China, then China observes capital punishment and you will be sentenced to death for your crimes. At least this frees up space in Chinese prisons and allows resources to be spent elsewhere (like on the economy) instead of being tied up in sustaining such a huge prison population like in the USA. Imagine how much American taxpayers money being put into upkeep of the world's largest prison population.

Source: globalnews.ca/news/5429194/trump-migrant-detention-rationale-experts/ The conditions at the station in Clint, Texas, included inadequate food, lack of medical care and older children trying to care for toddlers. In one case, attorneys said a two-year-old boy without a diaper was being watched by older kids. Several had the flu. Many were separated from extended family members like aunts and uncles who had brought them to the border; others were teenage moms with babies. There have also been deaths at the detention centres. Six children have died since last year after being detained by border agents. At least two are believed to have died of complications from the flu, including a 16-year-old who was left to sleep on a concrete bench inside a Border Patrol station. In contrast, the Uighur children in Chinese schools are each given their own beds, a classroom to study and learn and a spacious courtyard to play during free time. And it was revealed by journalists that both adults and children get the weekend off to return to their villages (which may be quite remote in Xinjiang) and be with their families, and will resume school activities after the weekend.

During the 19th century, the British wanted to continue drinking Chinese tea, but China did not want anything the West had to offer, so Britain waged two bloody wars with China and forced Chinese to buy opium from them at gunpoint, which we didn't want because it made us sick and was poisoning our people. Hong Kong was made into a British colony to spread the addiction throughout rest of China. Even after Britain renounced ownership over its former colonies, Hong Kong was not even fully returned back to China. Instead, China had to sign a declaration with Britain for them to handover what belongs to us.

@dustyeyer3573 China has 5000 years of history and is among the world's oldest 'continuous' civilization still alive today, whereas other great ancient civilizations like Mesopotamia, Rome and Egypt have since succumbed to history. Chinese civilization had existed centuries long before the birth of Jesus Christ himself, and we have been governing ourselves just fine without divine intervention.

@Timing Fire Look at the graph at 8:00 of the video and it shows Uighur preschool enrollment increased by a whopping 148% and that in Xinjiang, preschool enrollment increased by 82%. This meant that Uighurs in Xinjiang had not been sending their kids to school during the preschool age, which is why Uighur preschool enrollment was abysmally low.

@omertarikozkose9514 Beard is not forbidden in Xinjiang, only the unruly, crescent-shaped beard of Islam is discouraged. Besides, the Uighur men look more handsome clean-shaven and the Uighur women look beautiful without their faces being covered by the ugly black Muslim headveil. The Uighurs weren't even Muslims in the first place and they had their own vibrant Uighur culture before the Islamic invaders conquered the region and converted the natives to Islam.

During this weak period of China, Hong Kong was taken from us and made into British colony, to act as a drug distribution hub to spread the addiction throughout rest of China. Even after Britain renounced ownership over it's former colonies, Hong Kong wasn't even fully returned back to China.

@jayshon1348 About Taiwan, during the the Chinese Civil War, the communists were mostly poorly trained peasants, their weapons were crappy and they had far fewer numbers (only 50 communist members in 1921) over the Nationalist Kuomintang. The KMT on the other hand, had massive wealth (they taxed the peasants heavily) they had superior weapons, better training, superior numbers over the communists. Yet despite these initial advantages, the KMT still lost the mainland to communists and had to flee to Formosa? This demonstrates KMT gross incompetence in their right to rule the mainland.

@jayshon1348 You said Hong Konger don't want to be part of China, but majority the Hong Kong protestors consist of highschool students, who haven't even graduated from school, yet they already think they know the best way to govern Hong Kong? Even better than the Hong Kong Chief Executive? Their teenage minds have not yet matured nor been exposed to real world politics of Hong Kong. Look at the rest of the real world working adults and they got jobs to do, mouths to feed, families to raise, bills to pay, etc and they aren't protesting. So why should Hong Kong government bow down to the demands of highschool kids then?

@jayshon1348 Many of those Hong Kong protestors weren't even 18 years of age and they were under the legal voting age in Hong Kong (which is 21 years old) so what makes you think their political opinions count then? They haven't even graduated from school yet they already think they know the real political situation of Hong Kong? Yet you're claiming my argument is immature when you are the one supporting highschool kids protesting? @Muhammad Iqbal Ahmad What "greatness of democracies" are you talking about? Look at history and human civilization was predominantly ruled by authoritarian rule and oligarchies. Political power was oftentimes not held in the hands of the masses, instead it was concentrated in the hands of the few elites, be it nobles (aristocracy), priests (theocracy) or kings and emperors (monarchies). Such political systems were popular because they were stable and simply because they worked. The elites were well-educated and politically savvy to make important decisions regarding the country's future, while the ignorant masses were kept far away from politics. Whereas democracy has a long history of failure. Athenian democracy failed, Spartan democracy failed, Greek democracy failed and even Republic of Rome fell. These proto-democracies failed and neither was democracy ever popular outside of Greece in the ancient world. Modern Western democracy is a separate entity, and it is unproven in history, having only 100-200 years of history that's all. So its not guaranteed that modern democracy is going to be successful

Adolf Hitler was voted into power in a democracy, by preying on German people's resentment towards the humiliating Treaty of Versailles and he promised to make Germany great again (which admittedly he did) Similarly, Donald Trump came to power in a democracy by preying on America's resentment towards China and seduced votes from gullible Americans with false promises of making America great again. See the similarities here? And for your information, the Soviet Union wasn't a democracy, yet they fought in WWII as well. The last campaign fought of WWII, was the 1945 Soviet Invasion of Japanese occupied Manchuria, that finally ended WWII with the Japanese surrender. Why should Hong Kong government bow down to the demands of highschool kids? Many of the Hong Kong protestors aren't even 18 years of age, (so they aren't legally allowed to vote) so why should their political views be taken into account? Their teenage minds aren't matured to understand Hong Kong's real world politics in the first place.

Some Hong Konger named Chan, took his pregnant girlfriend to Taiwan and then proceeded to strangle her to death, and then flew back to Hong Kong alone, leaving her body in Taiwan. Chan has since confessed and Taiwan wanted to extradite this HK murderer to face justice in Taiwan, but Hong Kong realized it has no existing extradition treaty with Taiwan. Furthermore, since the crime occurred on Taiwan, Hong Kong courts are powerless to pursue justice for the victim's family. That's why Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam proposed the amendments to the HK extradition bill in order to cover up this legal loophole. So do the HK student protestors even know what they are protesting about? Do the HK student protestors even read the extradition bill and understand its contents in their entirety?

Yet despite all these advantages India enjoyed, China has long overtaken India in various fields. -China is world's 2nd largest economy, India is world's 7th. -China has world's 2nd highest military spending, India has world's 5th. -China has world's 2nd highest research spending, while India is 6th. -China has literacy rate of 96.4%, India has literacy rate of 72.1%. -China has Global Hunger Index of 7.5(low) whereas India's is 31.4(serious) -China is world's 3rd largest arms exporter. India is world's largest arms importer. So why do you still think "democracy" is good for India you tell me? Because the Westerners colonized India and told you so?

For example, in 2011, London’s Daily Mail reported that the Zhengzhou New Area was China’s largest ghost city, but today, the city has a population of 10,120,000 inhabitants, and had a GDP of 1,014 billion(RMB) in 2018. @VisionExplo China does not lock those Uighurs up, they take the weekends off and can to leave the schools to return to their families. Buses are charted to take Uighur's back to their home villages, since Xinjiang is very vast region and many of them hail from remote villages. It's like your Singapore
