Hong Kong will eventually be fully returned back to China by 2047 anyway, once the Sino-British declaration finally expires after 50 years. Chinese government is patient and there's no need to lift a finger and eventually Hong Kong will eventually be fully reunified with the mainland. China is actually the only country in the world that allows two different political systems to exist within our borders (One Country, Two Systems Policy) No other democracy in the world is willing to tolerate more than a single system within its borders.

The Hong Kongers voted 300+ seats for those pro-democracy candidates, but many of them are green and politically inexperienced (some even admitted to being first-timers), so they're going to experience first-hand what it's like to actually govern Hong Kong (and clean up the mess left by the Hong Kong protestors) for once.

@brendagordon4571 Now that at least 300 seats in Hong Kong government consist of pro-democracy members, then shouldn't the anti-government protestors cease their protesting? After all, the government now has majority pro-democracy, so shouldn't the Hong Kong protests stop?

@mitobozillman6067 Many of those pro-democracy candidate voted into those 300+ seats are politically inexperienced (some even admitted to being first-timers) so they're going to to be in for a difficult time governing Hong Kong (especially cleaning up the mess left behind by the HK protestors and rioters)

@unkn0wn3ntity86 Some of the Hong Kong protestors are seen waving United States Flag 🇺🇲 as well as United Kingdom Flag 🇬🇧 so is it a possibility that these are the foreign powers secretly sponsoring the continuation of the Hong Kong protests? I mean, the HK protests have been ongoing for 6 months now, so is it possible that some foreign anti-China powers are funding the protests to drive a wedge between Hong Kong and the mainland?

@unkn0wn3ntity86 Like you said, that's just allegations of espionage that's all. China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said that Beijing had never -- and would never -- interfere in another country's affairs. "Recently some Australian politicians, organizations and media have shown a high degree of tension on the issues involving China. Some might have been in a state of panic," he said. "They constantly fabricate the so-called Chinese spies and infiltration into Australia. I think no matter how extraordinary the plot is or how the trick has been refurbished, the lie is eventually a lie."

@unkn0wn3ntity86 You're just a single person waving Chinese flag in Canberra, but in Hong Kong, several protestors can be seen waving United States and United Kingdom Flags, so are these the foreign anti-China powers supporting the continuation of the HK protests? Otherwise why the HK protests last so long, until 6 months? Who's funding the HK protests? And do you have any actual evidence that China is influencing Australia politics? Australia is democracy and the Australians vote for their leaders so how can China influence the Australians' votes?
