There highschool kids haven't even graduated from school, yet they already think they know how to best govern Hong Kong? Their teenage minds haven't even matured and they haven't stepped out into the real working world of adults, yet they already gotten swept up by idealistic political fervor.

These students are all below the legal voting age in Hong Kong, what makes you think their political opinions matter?

@pewpew9711 Those high school kids who haven't even graduated yet aren't even of the legal voting age themselves, so why do their political opinions matter? They haven't even stepped out into the real working world of adults in Hong Kong, nor have they been exposed to real world politics, so why should the Hong Kong government bow down to the demands of these "underaged voters"?

Canada has anti-mask laws at rallies too.

@arcarcon4620 Hong Kongers elect their own government separate from the mainland. Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam was elected into power after winning the three way 2017 Hong Kong election, garnering 777 votes out of the 1,194-member Election Committee (which consist of Hong Kong groups) and Beijing does not cast any votes in Hong Kong elections. So how is Hong Kong government a puppet of the Communist Party of China?

@demonboy3779 Where's your evidence that Chinese government hired those triads? The government wants to to draw as little attention as possible to Hong Kong (The government says Hong Kong is not up for discussion in summit meetings) so why would the government stir up more trouble in Hong Kong that would draw more attention to it?

@demonboy3779 That's just a single pro Beijing person's opinion, how is that evidence that the Communist Party of China is behind the Yuen Long attacks? The CCP doesn't want to draw attention to Hong Kong, so why would they stir up more trouble in Hong Kong you tell me?

@arcarcon4620 China has been under communist party rule, and mainland China is world's 2nd largest economy today, and still growing, whereas Hong Kong's economy is ranked 34th in the world and is currently in a slump today. What happened to Hong Kong's previous prosperity under British colonial rule?

The Hong Kong Police arrested the HK rioters, who turned out to be high school kids from Hong Kong (like those featured here) so how are they from the mainland?
