Comments by "神州 Shenzhou" (@Shenzhou.) on "India eyes revival of military ties with China" video.
China and India are world's two most populous countries. With such large student populations, competition in our countries for top schools and higher education is fierce and intense, and after graduation, there isn't guaranteed that there will be enough jobs for everyone. That's why so many overseas international students, IT experts, foreign researchers, etc, happen to be Chinese and Indian. We should be cooperating to solve problems common to both our countries instead of fighting over border disputes.

India and Pakistan are actually brother states, sharing a common history (Mughal rule, British colonial rule, etc) right up to the partition of British India in 1947. But both India and Pakistan been fighting each other for about 70 years already, so why not attempt to mend relations instead? South Asia can only progress if its people are committed to making their countries better, instead of constantly opposing one another.

Beijing always welcome New Delhi to come onboard the Belt and Road Initiative to share in mutual progress and prosperity and make Asia strong again. China plans to make Asia strong, by building infrastructure in less developed countries like Pakistan, Kazakhstan, other -stan countries, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Maldives. But India often sees this as part of its "String of Pearls Strategy" but then, how else is Asia going to become strong if infrastructure isn't being built in these countries?

USA is involved in Gulf War, Iraq War, Afghan War, Libyan War in the Middle East and is cutting off those countries heads (Muammar Gaddafi, Saddam Hussein, etc) and then installing their own US puppets in place. Now USA is bombing Syria and the Assad Regime is next on the list.

Half Truth? Which part of my statement is untrue then?

During his visits to New Delhi, Chinese premier Zhou Enlai proposed the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence 和平共处五项原则 in order to define China-India relations and to negotiate to settle our border dispute peacefully. But Indian PM Nehru refused negotiations, and pursued an aggressive "Forward Policy" of building military bases at our disputed border, sometimes even extending across the international line and into actual Chinese territory. In the end, China has no choice but to retaliate against Indian aggression.

India thought USA was supporting her, but when President Trump started slapping tariffs on steel and aluminum, then only the true enemy is made clear.

Uchiha Madara Back then, India also supported Bangladesh Independence from Eastern Pakistan, much to Pakistan's suspicion, so why are you acting like India has Pakistan's interest in mind? India caused Pakistan to lose its territory of Bangladesh, yet you claim India gave Pakistan land?

Rohi Maity Why don't you explain Nehru's actions then? Zhou Enlai visited New Delhi 4 times, whereas PM Nehru only visited Beijing once. Zhou also proposed that India drop its claim to Aksai Chin and China would withdraw its claims from Tawang (so that occupied territories will become part of each countries territory) but Nehru rejected this proposal. You claim India has weakest army at that time, then why did Nehru aggressively build military bases at our disputed border, as part of his Forward Policy?

+Uchiha Madara You clearly said: "神州 Shenzhou P R O P A G A N D A you're telling the half truth" So all I asked is which part is untrue that's all.

When did I ever said anything about USA here? Indian troops also trespass Chinese territory in Doklam to obstruct PLA road construction efforts. India does not claim Doklam/Donglong as part of its territory, so why is Indian Army sending its troops there? As far as I know, why would China stop investment in India? Indians themselves have expressed the desire boycott Chinese goods many times, whereas Chinese government always want to promote better economic cooperation with other countries. Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai even proposed the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence 和平共处五项原则 to help define China-India relations.

President Vladmir Putin has repeated voiced his support of President Xi's Belt and Road Initiative. As for India, even if New Delhi rejects Beijing's offer to join BRI, Beijing will respect New Delhi's decision regardless.

Rohit Maity Yes I did say that in another comment. Chinese loans have high interest, because it is a risky investment into volatile countries like Pakistan and African countries, and higher interests are needed to justify for the risks involve. That's why Western banks refuse to approve loans to these countries due to the high risk involve in building infrastructure in such conflict prone regions. Otherwise, nobody is stopping Pakistan and other countries from borrowing from other banks besides Chinese banks if they want to. Chinese government don't recruit Africans to be engineers, because they simply aren't qualified enough to lead the projects. Chinese engineers are still more experienced at building infrastructure than local African engineers, so they are hired. About Doklam, You say its because of defense treaty, but is Bhutan being attacked here? If not, then why is Indian army being called into Doklam when it is a territorial dispute by our countries? China has produced evidence in the form of the 1890 treaty (Convention of Calcutta) showing that Doklam is part of Chinese territory. But what evidence has Bhutan shown for its claims to Doklam? Nothing. Yet India just believe Bhutan when it says Doklam is theirs? According to your article, how did China threaten India? All the PLA said is that such actions would result in “a negative influence” on stability along the border that's all. Do you see PLA retaliating by deploying missiles to India-China border? When did China oppose India building a road with Bangladesh? Did PLA troops actually physically stop Indian troops from building a road to Bangladesh? Otherwise how can you claim India can't build a road to Bangladesh because of China? How is China going to stop India from building a road to Bangladesh?
