  1. The issue is actually between North Korea, South Korea, and USA, not China. At the most, Beijing can only act as mediator to this dispute, and arrange for dialogue between both Koreas and USA. If Trump wants to claim credit for China's efforts, then why didn't Kim just approach Washington directly, instead of coming to Beijing?
