Quitting does not solve the problem. Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam should remain in power and solve the issue herself, rather than resigning.

Meanwhile, US President Trump "stands with" Saudi Arabia, and defends Saudi Arabian Crown Prince from murder of journalist, even when CIA has actual proof of Crown Prince's involvement. Double standards much? Why CIA hasn't released proof of Meng committing crime before Canada arresting her?

@drmodestoesq Chinese government is providing free education to Uighurs and training them in skills necessary for the workplace. Otherwise, under Uighur Muslim laws, their children don't go to school, instead they stay home and just read the Koran all day. Then they take over their parent's businesses as kebab sellers by the roadside.

@drmodestoesq Those people starved to death because of the Great Chinese Famine 1959-1961, where bad weather conditions such as drought and flood caused the destruction of crops and poor harvests. Even Mao Zedong can't be possibly control the weather isn't it?

@leehyunsong7001 If our lawyers commit crimes in China then they will be investigated under Chinese laws. But Meng was arrested in Canada even when she did not break any Canadian law and the USA thus far, hasn't released any information on her alleged crime.

@drmodestoesq China signed No-First-Use treaty regarding nuclear weapons, meaning that we will not attack with nuclear weapons, unless we ourselves are attacked by nukes. Whereas USA signed no such treaty and can preemptively strike any country with nukes. So if a nuclear war were to begin, China won't be the one starting it.

In June 1989, there were no deaths in Tiananmen Square itself. Jay Mathews, an author and education columnist with the Washington Post reported that "As far as can be determined from the available evidence, no one died that night in Tiananmen Square. All verified eyewitness accounts say that the students who remained in the square when troops arrived were allowed to leave peacefully."

@drmodestoesq Have you seen the Chinese tourists visiting your countries and stimulating your tourist industry? Your schools and universities are host to many international exchange students from China, studying the same topics as their peers. In global research institutions, Chinese scientists are collaborating with foreign companies in joint R&D projects. Chinese companies are hiring your workers, and Chinese investors are buying up property in your countries to develop. So how is the government treating Chinese people badly?

@drmodestoesq Why should ordinary Chinese people have a vote? Ordinary people may not vote responsibly (they may not turn up to vote) or they base their vote on emotions instead of logic. Or they simply lack political awareness to make important decisions regarding the country's future. Take Trump for example, he seduced votes from Americans with false promises of making America great again, even when he has zero political experience. In China's case, if people want to vote, they must prove themselves by joining the communist party (not easy to join and working their way up while garnering votes from other politically savvy members. Its not a perfect system, but it has produced leaders like President Xi, who has at least 30-40 years of political experience. I mean, you are charting the course of a country of 1.4 billion (300 million for USA) so of course you should have a strong and capable leader at the helm.

Meanwhile... Trump: Saudi Arabian Crown Prince did nothing wrong with murder of Khashoggi. He was a rogue operative, an enemy of the state after all! Saudi Arabia: Muahahaha!
