  2. +Lee Sk John. East and West Germany and North and South Vietnam were fortunate that they united earlier. The people now identify themselves as Germans and Vietnamese. Unfortunately, North and South Koreans have been separate so long that they see themselves more as different peoples the more the division goes on. Same goes for China and Taiwan.
