The workers are their own bosses, they get to decide what to produce and what to do with the fruits of their labour and how to divide up the profits among themselves. Most of the world is capitalistic is where the means of production are controlled by the bourgeois (aka private owners) and capitalists constantly seek to shrink worker wages and prolong working hours in order to skim off a wider profit margin for themselves. A small group of people (i.e the board of directors) makes all the major decisions on what to produce, how to produce and what to do with the profits (which they mostly take for themselves) and the workers of the company have no say.
