The GDP of Wales in 2022 was about 84 billion. The same as Luxembourg...Luxembourg has 600,000 inhabitants, Wales has about 3.2 million.... Wales was conquered by England nearly 800 years ago... If Wales wants to think of its culture, do it in your free time and not on the tax payers coin. Teach the kids to be brilliant engineers, doctors, scientists... keep Welsh as a hobby language and unskilled in subjects which will create the myths that future generations will read about.

It is a hobby language which doesn't further the cause of the Welsh on a global stage. By all means study and learn it, but not in school in tax payer funded time. Do STEM instead.
