@stubones no doubt, but given their opportunities from western training and equipment, this merely proves that they want what the Taliban are offering. Or they dislike it less than the Western alternative which was offered.

The ANA have been trained and equipped for a generation by Western powers. If they value freedom enough, they have the tools and the training to defeat the Taliban... they must sort themselves out this time.

@stubones I'm sure the ANA are infiltrated. But the bottom line is, they mentally do not value the opportunity that was offered. Leave them to evolve their own ways... turn the media cameras away and let them get on with it. Bleeding hearts merely lead to bleeding hearts, the metaphor becomes literal when we try and help out.
