  1. The problem with radio call-ins is that you can only put forward facts that the radio presenter agrees with... if they don't know the fact or hold an alternative opinion, they just talk over you, or, like Mike Graham, they just switch you off and move on....

James, when quoting Jacob Rees Mogg (2:40), you changed your voice to immitate his voice, or at least the accent of a generic posh person, in attempt to mock and disparage not just the words but the man. Would you make a similar attempt to mimic the voice/accent of someone from France, Germany, South Africa or China?

In the opening chapter of the novel "1984", Winston writes in his diary about watching a film where a boat load of refugees (in the Med, not the Channel) is bombed and a man is is shot by a helicopter gunship...the audience loved it. We are getting close to this ... if the only peaceful solution is a bilateral agreement with the French, I suspect that a unilateral UK solution would be supported by many.

James is so disingenuous... the bloke calling in spends 10s of thousands of pounds to support England football, he has seen multiple generations of England players during that time, he knows what England football stands for and has no personal history of racism. So he might be in a better position than a group of inexperienced England players to know how the national team should behave. He just wants England players to show their support for the nation which gave them their opportunity to earn great wealth; they are on the pitch to represent that nation. Why the players would choose a symbol (kneeling) which is inextricably linked with USA race relations (ie. Unrelated to UK race relations), violent riots, and a Marxist organisation I will never know. Solidarity with those aspects of life is ridiculous; that is why the fans boo the symbol. England players will have autobiographies penned already reporting how they felt forced to do this... Marcus Rashford supports free school meals for kids but advertises Coca-Cola on billboards....a drink often touted as contributing to an era of childhood obesity....If he cared about child health in any meaningful way, he would be more like Ronaldo....

  9. Kids need to do less useless university degrees leading to debt, do herdsmen duty instead. Some of the employment issues need to be solved by uk nationals doing work rather than university. Other issues solved by automation. The rest solved by limited migration.

  10. Nick, just go and look in the LBC coffee room....the left wing loons are all there! Tell them how tough our laws should be, not us! Don't turn your nose up at an internment camp. That is the message we need to tell OUR citizens, don't worry about the message to the rest of the world.
