Conflation of the kneeling gesture feels very constructed.... - NFL player used the gesture as one of "I will not stand for the national anthem" due to objections against the government - kneeling is classically seen as a gesture of submission to a higher authority - kneeling on someone's neck is a poor restraint technique which causes accidental death Those 3 images have been blended into the current, "kneel or you are racist" narrative. This is constructed and dangerous.

@gommechops conflation of symbols is a tried and tested means of propaganda technique for sure. More government leaders need to call this out.

@gommechops I can only think of 2 reasons for not calling it out...one is fear, other is they agree with the path it is going down... Not sure which worries me more!
