@skilledjanjua297 the world is complex and we live as individuals in the western world. We do not want or need your simple solution. That may explain why so many people do not want Islam in the West. It might have been a decent solution to living in a desert, the West is not a desert.

@skilledjanjua297 you do not get it, in the westbwe value liberty and individual choice. We are not seeking a solution for all people. We seek solutions for ourselves. Alcohol is great if used in moderation. Have you tried it?

@Hemma-mm what is the punishment for apostates? Those who no longer believe... From a commonly used search engine "Hudud punishments are specifically mentioned in the Quran and the Sunna. According to Islamic law apostasy is punishable by death, imprisonment or confiscation of property and blasphemy is punishable by death" I take that as wanting to control the life of a non-believer. Read the texts!

@shaundonoghue4309 also read the hadiths which make up the Sunnah, and the biography of mohammed...that gives you a complete picture. Also see what is assumed to be OK because mohammed did it...eg. age is marriage

@LadyLeomon agree. For me that makes it not a religion and therefore should not be subject to freedom of religion laws. Only a totalitarian political ideology seeks to control the lives of those who do not believe it.

@Hemma-mm Islam is a totalitarian religion, it gets more totalitarian the more "pure" it becomes. That just doesn't sit well with the rights of individuals in democratic western nations. Oil and water...
