The term "far right" is a description of direction (right or left) as well as distance from the observer's standpoint ("far"). The assumption in MSM is that the right have moved away from the centre but the view may be valid for a centrist or leftist who has moved further to the left. Someone on the far left will see a 1980s centrist as being both "far" and to the "right" based on relative political position to themselves... we must force them to use absolute terms and link them to people in history who have held similar beliefs.
