26:58 slogan for the next election..."the west is best"
13
Agree, is it because the new police recruits, in combination with a failing judicial system, are just not capable of policing real crimes...so they have focused on "crimes" they can "solve"... because they don't have the tools to solve real crimes...??
13
@evolassunglasses4673 we are still the majority in the nation, we already have the institutions....we just need to vote as a collective. Please stop going on about balkanisation.
12
No, a United Kingdom without devolved Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales...

Around 27:30... she struggles to give herself a political label (or identity) because the definition of political labels changes. That is why one needs to define yourself by answering key questions. 1. small government or large government(ie. To what extent do you want the government interfering with the right of individual and/or family)? 2. Nation (ie. borders and soverignty) or globalist ...recent David Starkey talk asks the question "are we all the same or are we different?" Which achieves the same point. 3. Are we responsible for our own actions or victims of society? This sets the style of legislation and punitive arrangements for society... I am sure that there are other questions which map out your political personality better than any political badge does...

Just correct those who use the word against you by saying that you are "islamosceptic" and not Islamophobic. You offer a rational critique of supposed values of Islam....perfectly reasonable position to hold. Just make them use our word: Islamosceptic.
12
The fact that Maggie was a late entrant to the Police is the reason why she struggled to sweep the crimes under the carpet. She wasn't socialised to the establishment position of the force and had the simple "right versus wrong" view of a mum who had brought up her kids properly. Younger entrants will be socialised to obey their leaders. We need more mature entrants parachuted into the force who haven't been brainwashed by hierarchy.

Great discussion. Disagree on his statement that "this country was built on immigration". This country always incorporated immigration but it was migration that was culturally close to us....Hugenots (Same religion), Irish (same language, similar religion)....
12
There is a UN document which lays out the option of what it calls "Replacement migration"....so easy to find on search engine beginning with G
11
Conference needs wider advertising for next year.
11
@electraruby doesn't mean that one of Starmer's mates or colleagues wasn't involved in getting him into the UK. The human rights lawyers flock together...back scratching, mutual arse covering etc
11
Hong Kong....they need the freedoms we used to have and might yet regain, and we need their brains and ambition. Either that or retired professionals who do a 1 year conversion course to learn a syllabus and they receive tax free pension income.
11
Agree, western European nations are going to be multicoloured, but we must stop being multicultural. Gone too far to have white ethnostate so people should stop wishing for it. Focus on culture and reducing immigration of un-assimilatables.
11
@paulban889 nail on the head. Women who pay for university and get into debt feel that they have to justify their investment by getting on a career ladder to bolster self-esteem and pay off debt. If, at the same time, society is belittling the "stay at home mother" and keeping wages down for workers by massive immigration policy with low productivity per worker...you create a society where women feel failures if they don't work and a single salary for a household is insufficient to meet the needs of the family.
11
Tim, we can vote our way out of this. The majority of voters are white british people. Sadly, most of the voters also watch the BBC. We can pass legislation which will make the UK an uncomfortable place for non-assimilators. We have maybe 5 to 10 years to achieve that...2 to 3 elections max. The laws needing to be passed would need to approach those passed in 1930s Germany. Approaching, not equalling...Failing that, we have only the Cromwell option. If you cannot stomach those kind of laws, you really won't stomach the Cromwell option... so start reading mid 20th century european law books or prepare for Dhimmi status.
10
Look at SDP. Nationalist and very strong anti-immigration. Some socialist monetary policies. Basically what Labour might once have dared to be.
10
Why not actively encourage your children to consider the laws which would need to be passed to restore the UK. They will approach those passed in Germany in 1930s to achieve restoration, just without any death camps. Unless people can feel comfortable with that idea, there will be no restoration. But let's consider legislation rather than leaving.

28:52 ! An amazing anecdote showing how the whole of the Police hierarchical structure is diseased

Of the questions to ask politicians and political candidates in next 18 months before next general election...(a) what is a woman and (b) do you believe in the concept of a sovereign nation and if so, what does that mean to you. If they stutter, do not lend them your vote.
9
@whocares5108 do you think that the UK can survive an English parliament though?? If you think it is likely to lead to splitting up the UK, a la Yugoslavia, then one must pursue reversing devolved powers...as well as almost everything else Tony Blair came up with...😄
9
@markhutton6055 the fact that you are on this channel shows you are the exception and not the rule for the modern 20 something generation...I've asked the same basic question for 10 years...only foreign born getbit all right...tragic.
9
@billywhyte6693 you are Islamo-sceptic. Use "our" word and stand tall and be proud to be rational and objective critic of their political ideology.
9
Or do we need to try to become like 1930s Germany but just change the out-group?
9
Great contribution from Frank Furedi. Very clear view of how history is being used versus should be used.
9
@carolinejohn4537 I'm surprised that more right wing politicians and commentators haven't picked up on it and used it against the left when they are claiming to protect fringe groups...of course the left would then have to explain that it only relates to your money... they are more than happy to put the interests of the few ahead of the many in any aspect of life other than wealth...where they rely on the few being paying most of the tax.

You mean the old and successful culture forum!

People wearing medical grade masks are taking care of themselves; good sign of personal responsibility. They may have medical problem which means they can't afford to risk the good manners of others not to cough all over them. The fact that they are out and about in society means they are getting on with life.
8
The Royal Navy has a history of naming ships after vital characteristics for naval warriors to aspire to. For example: Indefatigable, valiant, indomitable, invincible, intrepid etc...Trump displays all those characteristics.
8
He needs to remember that the E stands for England....

Points system for immigration is fine as long as you awards points appropriately and set the pass mark high enough. If you don't have a points system then you end up having a race or ethnicity based system, which is not going to make assimilation of the existing recent migrants very easy or productive. 1. IELTS score 7.0 or higher 2. No religious belief that makes demands of non-believers 3. No criminal convictions which would be illegal in the UK 4. No benefits or healthcare or citizenship until english language skills proven...same for all citizens...IELTS 7.0 OR HIGHER...for native brits as well as immigrants. 5. Probationary citizenship for new migrants, any criminal prosecution within 10 years and you get citizenship revoked and sent home 6. Leave the European Court of human rights and establish the UK Court of human rights...because to do any of the above we will need to do that.... Etc...

@Excommunicated-ei1ep the reclaim, Reform and heritage parties just sound too "swivel-eyed" to actually be taken seriously. Coulston and his admiration for Singapore shows that he gets how tough a future leader needs to be. Singapore got battered into prosperity. Lee Kuan Yew was a tough bloke and said "no" many, many times to people who wanted to enjoy the easy life rather than live for the prosperity of the nation and the future citizens. This kind of conversation needs to be heard, I don't see Farage or anyone else on the established Tory Right being able to come up with this stuff.
8
@uingaeoc3905 communism is international socialism...which has become international corporatism
8
@soothsayer1964 it's tragic...theybhave no perspective of national history...they were never taught it at school and our national public displays of historical remembrance are watered down and co-opted by other topics....or so it seems to me. "Old people are gammon (racist and sexists and xenophones) to many youngsters...so why should they consider their lives"...is probably what they think...
8
We must not forget that the erosion and weakening of traditional British values has permitted migrating cultural philosophies to fill a vacuum. The active undermining of traditional British history and cultural values has gone hand in hand with the inaccurate teaching of migrating philosophies which have no place, when taken literally, in the UK.

Superb stuff - spent a great hour wandering round a frosty park in England listening this, many thanks. But if the English kids from inner cities are to won round then someone is going to have to show them directly what England is and why we think we have a different culture....start with different and we can work up to better ! Paintings and country houses are too far away from their "lived experiencd", to borrow their expression. I honestly don't know where to start but my guess would be something along the lines of: 1. Why does the UK have a royal family and French don't. 2. Why are the police mainly unarmed. 3. Why do we have more churches than mosques. 4. Why are we mainly protestant when we used to be Catholic 5. Why does it say "F.D." on our coins.(admittedly less relvant in cashless society... but most kids have coins in their pockets and they have the remnants of an enormous historic event on those coins). 6. Why is English the language of business and commerce around the world.
8
You would need a major sense of national pride as part of the solution. Perhaps some economic partnership scheme for employees, like John Lewis? And pick leaders and managers who feel like they're spending their own money when spending tax money.
8
Can you have a national health service without a sense of nationalism?
8
That is exactly my way of thinking too, a massive difference between an inter-nationalist view of the world and a globalist view of the world.
8
A minority labour government, with a weak Starmer leading from a weak position, is the best that we can realistically hope for. That government collapses and then we get to vote again, ideally with sufficient time passing such that a Restorative, not conservative, party can emerge.
8
@leefitzpeter4287 his Oxford Union speech being still up on YouTube shows that his thoughts do not infringe hate speech laws ... when he is on best behaviour he is very eloquent.
8
if you talking immigration, you need to look at the UN document from circa 2000 which tackles PSR. They, the UN, suggested replacement migration as a solution to the impending PSR crisis... Poppy, you need to tackle PSR. You have made a great start but tackle the data, not just the talking points.

The GDP of people in carribean nations of former slave plantations (eg. Jamaica or Barbados) is higher than that of African slave selling nations like Benin, Nigeria and Ghana. Descendents of slaves are already doing better than those who descended from their brithers andbsusters whonsold them into slavery.

Yes, he regrets it.

People need to seriously revisit Sam Solomon and Gerrard Batten's charter for UK islam - this appears to be the only attempt to reform Islam to a standard which is consistent with western values. The blasphemy law supporters are not extremist interpretors ... They are simply adherents to the philosophy as writtten down in their book. Change the philosophy or it is time for partition.
7
@NOWHERE PEOPLE you created a strawman cartoon version of my argument yourself. I don't want to turn half the world into British people. I just want the inhabitants of Britain to behave like british people and have an undestanding of what our ancestors did to create something special. I clearly stated that the entrance to Britain should be well guarded (ie. reduce immigration) and that we should encourage those who don't want to assimilate to leave. I see an anglo-saxon majority long into the future if we follow these principles.
7
@imerge3054 no need to feel shame on behalf of past generations. Learn and move on. The sins of the father..."The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him."
7
Agree, they still have the "too big to be allowed to fail" status and and so they should not be using the same rules as private enterprises which can be allowed to die if they fail the test of "the market".
7
@anonnemo2504 something about educated ex-colonial immigrants to the UK, they have an idea of Britain as it was... a place of laws and decency and respect. They soon become "educated" to this falsehood, but at least they still know that it once existed which is more than most kids know now.
7
The brightest ones never run for election, they advise or work in media... they seem to get all the excitement of power with little of the responsibility or attention from media
7
9:00 the habit of giving way or standing aside on the street to those in need is lost habit in many... some visiting cultures see it as weakness rather than good manners.
