Nigel has to walk a fine line. He needs to be able to invite hundreds of thousands of non-white, UK-born British citizens to the Reform party. There is no seizing power and governing UK without having a large percentage of these people in his party. Reform cannot be seen as an ethnically pure party. The ethnic makeup of the nation is a concern, however, especially if demographic change means loss of an appreciation of our island's history and race. But it cannot be the primary concern. It can be protected as a secondary effect of enforcing our laws and values on recent arrivals. For exampke, 1. Send home any illegal entrants. 2. Deport all foreign prisoners immediately. 3. Fine all UK employers using illegals. 4. Set up a barrier to entrance for more people coming. Most people of any ethnicity would see the implementation of these policies as British and fair-play and British people of all ethnicities could get behind them. And the secondary effect would make UK look very inhospitable to foreign- born chancers. So the net effect would be the same as prioritising ethnicity, but would include many non-white British people in the idea. If Nigel's pendulum can swing back to this, I think he would reassure many who feel, as I do, that he is flirting with soft and wooly liberal ideas.

Many British Reform people are more than happy to do business with Europeans, we just do not want to have your politics. Trade is fine.
