Comments by "golfbulldog" (@golfbulldog) on "Richard Tice: Reform has the GUTS to do what Tories WON'T. If You Don't Like British Culture, Leave!" video.
English values needs English people to hold those values in high enough regard to fight for them. They require a high trust society to make them work. A high trust society needs the strongest of sheepdogs and shepherds to be on sentry duty. Modern education has led to disrespect of English history and values. When this is combined with diversity from low trust societies, the high trust sheep are weak and defenceless. 1. Borders mean borders -stop the neo British entering 2. Make non-British values difficult to live by in the UK 3. Reduce the ability of foreign investors to own British national assets, and yes...we will live with the consequences 4. Restore our education system to the level of 1950s, social mobility via grammar school selection. Elitism in both academia and trade skills. 5. Make the monarch aware of his duty that he is head of the church of England. If he doesn't like it, leave the job. 6. Make London represent the nation, not the world.

Vote SDP where they are standing. They are tougher on immigration than Richard Tice, and economically more suited to traditional left wing red wall areas.

He is just playing the media game...they think we can only deal with catchphrases
2
Peter, you did good job at politely pushing back at Reform's words. Please push back using the SDP manifesto as a close counterpoint. People just do not trust Richard Tice.
2
Watch interviews with the SDP leader, William Clouston, he is much better.

How about 2 foreign-born out, 1 foreign-born in.
1
Why not the SDP?
1
Look at the SDP
1
1 in, 1 out will only work if it is 1 foreign born out... why not offer a deal of 2 out, 1 in....that 450,000 emigrants per year, how many are native born English? Like for like mean foreign-born out, foreign-born in...ideally, 2 out, 1 in.
1
Agree, 2024 is the year the western world stands on the precipice....USA elections, UK elections, German elections, EU Parliament elections...the dominoes are all lined up...
1
How will they do it? It needs to come from grass roots and knocking on doors, the algorithms won't help Reform or any small people reach the masses, and the MSM certainly won't. Get your shoes on and start campaigning.
1
Look at the SDP, conservative on values, left-leaning on economy.
1
The SDP follow exactly your recipe. NCF have given them more airtime than anyone...but they are tiny party and need rebranding.

Why not the SDP?

@trekrich28 the new culture forum does interviews with their leader....watch them William Clouston is his name. Far better than Tice. Failing that, Google their manifesto.
1
@somethingintheair5373 almost every reform voter would be switched to SDP if they actually listened to their leader speak. If you think the fact that Reform is in 3rd place is going to break the uni-party, you are living in cloud cuckoo land...
1
@trekrich28 they are not running in every constituency, they have a list on their website. Not running where I live.
1
We may have to call down economic shellfire on on our position....we must rid ourselves of the massive welfare state and see who survives. Our position has been overrun. Then rebuild something sustainable. We have to vote for something that makes the next 10 years very tough for UK citizens. Anything that feels comfortable will almost certainly be the wrong decision.
1
Brave only by current standards. Lots of academics on YouTube say the same thing about preparing for the consequences, much cheaper and much less catastrophic for our lifestyles. Some say man-made climate change is the cause, others don't...but they all agree much better to mitigate for the changes rather than stop the changes. Bjorn Lundberg is an advocate for this. Good interview on the Hoover Institution channel
1
If he wants to make sharia illegal in UK, he will have to ban foreign ownership of UK businesses and institutions....money buys influence.
1
@mrror8933 many of the 25 points outlined in 1920 in Germany will need to be considered, however distasteful that may appear, but that is the degree of medicine that our current maladies require.
1
@somethingintheair5373 because people look at where he got his money (commercial property investment) rather than industry and training skill for British people, who currently funds the Reform Party (it isn't really a political party in strict sense of the idea, it a private limited company).... and his soundbites like "starmageddon" and "net zero migration" are just amateurish and easily undermined. What will happen if 200,000 native brits emigrate year on year and these are matched by foreign-born immigrants....net zero promise (1 in, 1 out) but the UK still loses its heritage....
1
@Harassed247 and William Clouston delivers it better AND has more to say....
