The idea that France and UK can solve this problem by setting targets and some modern entente is ridiculous... it appeals to those who feel that "the grown ups are back in charge".... but France alone can't stop the flow of migrants to them if they are part of the EU. So if France can't stop the flow into France, why would they stop the flow to the UK??

@andycap1188 I agree, that was my point. UK not shipping them back means France has dealt with their problem. We need to ship them back so that they can't hide from the scale of their problem. Their problem is caused by open borders within the EU. They will not leave the EU and therefore they will not be a successful negotiation between UK and France...

@jjrider6758 I agree, because the shitp flows downstream and out of their eir nation... as soon as we ship every single illegal entrants back to Calais, they will soon find that they can't ignore it so much.
