@robertcapewell7545 I don't think reform has the leaders we are looking for...they probably have my vote at moment... I want someone like Julia Hartley-Brewer to do a Kari Lake though...or Douglas Murray....or Carl Benjamin... or someone other than a standard politician

@robertcapewell7545 like I said, I would vote for them now if election tomorrow. UKIP are lost, Reclaim, For Britain and Patriotic Alternative are unelectable, Heritage and SDP aren't complete packages....Reform it is....but bigger fish need to join if they are to do an "En Marche" style Macron win in the next 2 years.

We are not a nation that has that kind of institution.... we used to have families and schools which fulfilled those roles....that feels a better way of doing it than a monolithic national institution.

@nizviz we struggle to get enough public spirited quality people to fill the Commons.... are we going to get enough local quality to devolve power to?? I agree, i would sack the Lords...at least the non-hereditary ones.

@robertcapewell7545 look to US elections. Kari Lake came from media and seems to have the right stuff. She handles the media superbly well and has the balls to want to do something rather than merely comment on it. We need to see our Conservative media analysts and journos making the same move.... from talking to doing. None of the current tories have the right stuff. Let them wither on the rancid vine.
