  3. If you have recently discovered the Fabian Society, you might want to study a movie written by a former Fabian, H.G. Wells. The movie was released before WW2 and is called "Things to come". It portrays a modern feeling society brought to a civilisation-ending war and how a supra -national organisation goes about recreating a perfect society. One envoy from this supranational body lands amongst a small region which is waging war against a neighbouring region. They are portrayed as "little englanders" who should simply give up their sovereignty...their leader and the envoy argue leading to the envoy saying "we don't believe in independent sovereign states"....and he proceeds to call in his organisation which drops the "gas of peace" onto the little englanders and they are subsumed into the supranational global organisation...

  4. He has many things right and is a great speaker, but he's a big state guy at heart. Maybe we need big state to reverse the big state leftwards drift. Let's see what USA does in reversing their madness.

  7. If Nigel is looking for the extra 5 or 6 million votes Reform need to win an election, he shouldn't be moving his policies to the centre. He needs to open the eyes of the "centrist dads" with some facts and lead them towards the right....leadership is vision and bringing people towards you, not drifting towards them. Rupert gets it, Nigel doesn't.
