The republic of Ireland used to be in a bad state just a could of generations ago. We have came a long way.   39.  @edreynolds8721  I get that, but they wouldn't need it if guns were illegal. In most first world countries only criminals have guns. They mostly fight other criminals. Out from the USA we don't have random civilians carry out mass shootings in shopping centres, schools, festivals etc.

  40.  @edreynolds8721  One shooting in Sweden. It was surprising for a reason. It rarely happens outside of USA. In the US mass shootings happen almost every day. Even country with twice the population have less mass shootings. It's a lot more difficult for those with bad intentions to carry out attacks when weapons are harder to get. Doesn't completely stop gun crimes but decreases it significantly.
