  1. Raccoons can be natures comedians except when they kill your chickens. You have a choice of shooting them, trapping them or just securing your chickens in a tight coop at night. Most folks I know with chickens do that. Ultimately the raccoon has to lose one way or the other. This ain’t Disneyland when it’s your chickens.
