Great job Kyle! Always nice to see father and son working too. You are building some great memories!

It truly was a beautiful home decorated and landscaped with classic taste. It could have been saved if she had made plans with a land trust but with a use having to be decided upon. I can see why it was a sanctuary for her.

A bit simpler in WV. As long as you are outside a city, the only permit you need is for a septic system. The rest you can go at it. Great video Kyle. Addition is looking great for you two and the baby!

Your channel is such a rich resource of NYC history. As a subscriber I really enjoy them. Hope you do a piece on Robert Moses too, a controversial figure but still a great planner of his time.

I think I’ve been watching since your beginning, 3-4 years ago. Have always enjoyed watching the projects, the cooking and the fishing too with your Dad. You work hard and continue to innovate what you do. This building of the new cabin is certainly exciting. Be safe and you and Cierra enjoy yourselves. Happy hunting Cierra!

That’s an amazingly well kept and restored home. Its definitely Greek Revival on the exterior but some kind of blend of Greek on some details but very period design on the rest of the interior. Well done explanation and tour. Thank you!

I’m watching you from the beginning so it’s great seeing you evolve this life you are making for the three of you in the MI woods. Keep it coming.

Organized religion aborting the original Gospel of the New Testament by Christ. There are numerous instances of such abuse all through history. What a mess people have made of the simple teachings of Jesus. Even today the great wealth and property of churches is in contradiction to His preachings. No where will you find a directive to harness wealth and power over a faithful. Tis’ all for naught.

Well done Mark Felton!

I agree with a another comment, what a fall experience with the chickens, Skeeter and the build. I am sure you slept good that night maybe too after some brauts and tators, fried up by Cierra.

Thanks again Kyle. Catching up as have been camping in FL.

Great job Kyle, Cierra and Dad too. If you can share it, about how much has all your lumber cost so far? Would be neat to find an ol’ boy sawmill to get some lumber from too. We get cypress from one like that. Keep up the great work. Time for brauts soon!!!

My girlfriend at the time and another couple in our senior year in Norte Dame HS of Bridgeport, CT, attended this fair. Was pretty spectacular! I haven’t forget the fair or my lovely girlfriend either!

Nice job, all of it, the framing, Cierra’s cooking, the pups and especially father and son. Sleep well tonight!

Looking good Kyle! If the ads aren’t too longI I have been letting them run asI think that helps you on a better drip as it were, of some money from YT.

Great video Donnie. I have well water but it’s iron water so it’s ok to wash and bathe in but not too good for drinking and cooking. So here in Pocahontas County, WV I get my good water from a mountain spring and have been for many years. Every so often I take my truck back up on the mountain in the forest and fill my jugs. Like you said, best tasting water ever. Makes the best coffee too. Love this way of life. I enjoy your series very much. Thank you!

How did you determine how many outlets per room you would install? Are you using gang boxes on separate circuits in the kitchen? I built my cabin in a rural area but like you and was lucky enough to be able to have power. Looking good Kyle! That will be a wonderful family home.

Good advice on the inverter generator. I have a Westinghouse 2200 peak, 1800 run, one. I talked to an engineer from the Westinghouse generator group and he told me in addition to following the manual on other stuff, change the oil more frequently than every 50 hours, like 25-30 instead. Most of these have no oil filter and lubricate with what’s called “splash” lubrication. Take care of it and it will take care of you. Also when you are ready to shut it down, unhook the loads and let it run a bit, then shut it off. I agree too, the Predator from Harbor Freight got good reviews on the YT generator test channel. Nice set up Kyle. I am an RVr in a small Forest City Wolf Pup and I use this system a lot.

@KYLESCABIN No problem, I am learning much from you too. A lot we can all do if we only try!
